Interviews

Bottom line here people regardless if you were one of the three that met with the RSD, keep interviewing elsewhere in the mean time. Bydureon has not been approved and if the unlikely case it gets sent back for more studies, you are screwed. Continue to search and get another job. No formal offers can legally go out UNTIL Bydureon lands approval. So those that said they negotiated and signed an official document for the position are lying. You will not receive a FedEx offer letter until AFTER approval. Good luck with the search...

I personally received my information and letter from fedex, completed my W-4 and I-9, etc. The offers are contingent on the approval on Bydureon,, so yes this can end before it begins, but they are doing official offers, and having all employment paper work completed before the 28th.

For those who have gotten the Fed Ex with official offer etc., could you tell us what Region and what state? I have already provided SS# for background check but have not gotten anything else.

The SS number that your manager asked for was probaably not for background check...you'll get an email that gives you a link to the website for background check info, and let's you know about the drug screen process. West Region.

For those of you who made it to the RD interview. A few have heard back but the majority of have not... most likely b/c of the massive amount of interviews in a short period of time. Looks like patience will be required as the DM's are swamped.

Thanks for the information. I made it to the RD interview over a week ago in Dallas and was getting a bit worried. I guess I will just sit tight.

These interviews are a TOTAL scam and waste of time. In most cases, it seems, they already know who they are hiring BEFORE they interview candidates. Yesterday in Dallas, they interviewed a guy, he went straight to the RD, and was flying back when the other candidates had to stay and interview (even though they knew they were hiring the first guy). In another territory, the guy that got hired is a neighbor of the DM. He has a year of experience versus a candidate with 13 years diabetes experience, another with 10. Yet they KNEW neighbor guy was getting hired BEFORE the interviews, yet they flew people in to go through the crap for legal reasons. I understand it's who you know in many cases, however, this was handled EXTREMELY unprofessionally. Way to go Ventiv. Hope you believe in karma.

You and the othe person may have been Plan B. I had this happen to me on an interview years ago. I found out the person I was interviewing against was pushed by the DM and the interview with the RD was just a formality. She ended up not taking the position after sitting on the offer for over a week. I was contacted about two weeks after the final interview and was asked by HR i was still in the job hunt. I told them I wasn't intersted (the truth). So some people may get calls if the primary candidate falls through via background etc

what makes you think this is a second round....and I think more than 1 city is probably interviewing on the 18th-so the two of us posting may not be competing...any tips on getting the job will be appreciated-if they're sending 3 candidates, is the one selected more experienced in Diabetes, have more Ventiv connections or better connected to Amylin
