If your happy and you know it...

Every respectful pharma company has Art group and it's usually even bigger than ours at Taro.
Their work is just as important as of other divisions and so far there's been no complains on quality.
Compared to some other departments (like finance who posted this "joke" above) they are doing great job. Why don't everybody concentrate on improving things in their groups instead of criticizing others.

It's easy to do a great job when your job is simple to begin with.

It's surprising that you're not aware of your surroundings. How would finance know you have it so easy?

I would love to work in Finance, said nobody ever. They look so happy downstairs. Modern day slavery as an individual calls it. What a shame on the CEO, a tightwad with the wallet and not bringing in headcount, meanwhile you have the art department walking around all day up here socializing. There a no medium, time to call in consultants to do evaluations on what people do. It’s definitely a hostile environment.
This was the initial message comparing "poor, understaffed finance people" to "walking around and socializing" art department. Hard to believe it was written by someone not in finance.
I agree with people who called you a bunch of bullies on cafepharma.
You've run out of people to hate in your department so started expanding to the 3rd floor.

We are not happy on the 3rd floor either. It seems only the privileged ones who have been with the company 200 years get away with everything.

And believe me the finance department is NOT complaining about the art department, we are Miss Avon.

There has to be something for them to do?
Filing, raking leaves outside, picking up the slobs cigarettes.

All day long back and forth gossiping, gossiping, gossiping. The carpet by my office is worn out.

There's no point in partying and socializing together in the company where 90% of people hate each other and their job.
Employees will be better off just staying home and receiving Christmas bonus (yeah, why not!) from the money saved on that corp. party.

I check this forum from time to time. I made a few good friends at Taro but so glad I left. Some posts are 100% truth, some exaggerated. The Art Dept did BS Aaaaaalllll day. Gossip and coffee breaks was their thing. They'd walk around a good part of the day. We also had a Director who thought she had the right to disrespect anyone. Insecure and got a kick out of humiliating others. The 2nd floor had too many bullies. Never seen anything like it in my life. Bullies who were obvious and tolerated. Nothing breaks down morale like watching nonsense play out and no one doing anything about it. There are still a bunch of great employees left at Taro. Really good people. For their sake, I hope things change, or they find their way out.

Hopefully you'll get that week off. You're all obviously burnt out

No bonus....no christmas party...for the second floor.

No Christmas party, but I hear the company is considering closing for Christmas week.
One good solution is to have Christmas party in protective suits.
It'll protect from a number of things at once:
COVID
People spitting or splashing drinks into each other's faces
Listening to nasty gossips from your co-workers
Hearing your boss telling you to come back to work after party
@ or upper management saying that Taro is a great successful company

Well said. Too bad for the good employees surrounded by this garbage on both floors.

The Art Dept was Uncle Barrie's favorite department 10 years ago.
I see that that entitlement has carried over to Sun ownership.
