If your happy and you know it...

Everyone asked for advice/help- went to managers, HR and even this board out of desperation. All we are told is “You don’t like it? Then leave!”

HR reads these posts. Not a single person in that department even anonymously shared a message of support and/or solid feedback on how an employee can deal with toxicity in the office. And I’m not talking about the miserable chronic complainers that just look for anything to fuss about (loud phone calls, bathroom visits) every time a few days go by with no posts on this board, just to have entertainment. I’m talking about people who expressed legitimate concerns over issues of bullying, harassment, inadequate tools, etc.

“If you don’t like it, stop complaining and leave!”

Fine.

Peace out. F this place.
Accurate post. You're not alone.

Agree. HR did nothing in the past and seems to keep doing nothing now. I left Taro long time ago and was very specific in my exit interview mentioning names of trouble makers and things they did to employees. Nothing happened to those managers. Luckily for people, big clown left last winter, but others stayed and are still giving people hard time. Careless HR is big part of the problem.

This place still uses old style management tactics of bullying and keeping everyone thinking they are going to lose their jobs if they have a bad day. This style is not aligned with other major pharmas.

I am glad I left and went to good pharma company that values its employees.
In fact, they are keeping us working at home because they want to protect us and it doesn't hurt that we are doing so well.

Leave while you can because even a mediocre company will treat you better than Taro.

It's a bully culture that's spread like a disease with no consequences.

They can't leave and this is the reason:

You must had left really long time ago. Because it's been more than a year since they cancelled exit interviews. No more feedback is accepted, no more negativity at Taro. We are a Great company. If someone left, it's all their fault.

HR sells makeup for employees to conceal unhappy faces.

Thank you for posting this. This is good to know. I'm outta here

Sounds like Taro management material to me. Perfect credentials. We can really use a clown shoe shine pajama boy in the executive offices. But can that person sell make-up? Jump on it HR.
Who sells makeup in HR? Isn't this against company policy? Didn't 2 employees who were married couple get in trouble for selling product or service on 2nd a while back? Rules only apply to some at Taro. Certain Rules and flexibility are not meant for all.

Cancelled exit interviews?? If that's the case when I leave I'm writing a letter and sending it to top personnel. I don't care that complaints don't matter to HR. I'm having my say.

HR Avon lady. Buy $500 and get a promotion.
Whoever disgusting person posted this, STOP IT! Leave HR alone. It doesn't hurt anyone if they sell cosmetics during the lunch time. Their salaries are not as high as of those of our finance people (as example) although quality of work is better. You guys should see what HR has DONE and keeps doing for you, not just what they haven't done. They are just as limited in what they can do as any other department.

HR only has 4 people. They can't babysit every unhappy employee. If you have problems, try to discuss it with your manager first. If doesn't help, file official complaint. But don't attack HR employees in this forum with nasty posts. They don't deserve it.

Stop making excuses for them.
It's literally their job to correct a hostile working environment.
Is Taro a better place to work for than it was five years ago?
NO!

They don't deserve it???? I'm so glad to have left Taro. Nothing changed, NOTHING. HR might need to hire help. Have some empathy. It's called HUMAN resources for reason. Have you ever seen a company with no exit interviews, hostile toxic managers allowed to bully employees, employees feeling comfortable enough to bully a company VP and each other?!!! This is not ok. This is not normal. Managers making up rules however they see fit because there's little in writing from HR. Rules which don't apply to all. You say Babysitting????
It's all part of working HR? HR is supposed to look out for the company but they're also there to not allow any bull$hit from upper management, middle management or administrative workers. I hear now in order for an employee to move to a different department they have to ask their managers permission??! Imagine that! Working for one of those toxic managers and asking if one could leave?! The retaliation!!!!
