Hybrid sales force

Same happened to me, made me feel like a just dodged a bullet.

I thought it was very telling... the d-bag with 2 first names clearly has a lot riding on this and is convinced this pill will be very difficult to sell, I bet the price is sky high.

How much will they charge for one pill?

That was the guy! I was surprised to hear they don't have many insurance plans. This is going to tank. He pretty much talked me out of this position saying a lot of negative things. Why interview candidates to just turn them off? If he doesn't believe this will sell, how are reps supposed to?

dude, they played you. They wanted to see how you’d react hearing all the downside. If it was easy, anyone could do it. They’re looking for SALESpeople who see this as a great opportunity to shine, not to be discouraged. You were clearly not the right fit.

I’m interviewing and doing my research and this is the biggest objection you will get;

Michael Carome, MD, director of Public Citizen’s Health Research Group, told the Times, “This drug is not necessary and few women should need it. Fluconazole is available at very low cost and in general is very effective. The cost of this is just outrageous.”

Diflucan is $10 with or without insurance and does the same thingZ

How will you handle this objection?

OBGYNS are very price conscious.

Anyone get an offer? I agree, ghosted. My recruiter went from contacting me a lot to nothing. I understand if I didn't get the job. But seems no one on here is claiming an offer. Wondering if none were given out yet, and what went wrong.

Recruiters are stretched very thin and often work on the “hurry up and wait” business model. Meaning that nothing will be going on until all of the sudden, they have to fill as many spots as possible in as short of time as possible. Take it as a positive sign that you haven’t heard anything. At least you didn’t hear “no”. The recruiter maybe trying to avoid you because they just don’t have a good honest answer for you. They are the middle men in all this. They want to hold you at arms length so if a customer is looking to hire someone, they can quickly call you and get the slot filled. 9 times out of 10, it’s just the luck of timing. You could be overqualified and hear nothing on numerous job postings. Then all of the sudden, Boom! You’re on the fast track for your new gig. Be patient, stay on good terms with the recruiters you deal with, and keep looking for other work. Maybe you’ll get a hit, maybe not. Always be looking! Just my advice.

This is a kind response and not typical on here. So thank you!

I was all about this job until that article came out. Unfortunately, the article came out way after the interview process had started. There is no way this is going to succeed. On top of it, they don't have many insurance plans yet and said they "are working on it."

While I understand that recruiters are “stretched thin”, they could do the right thing and reply to an email. This is especially true when my particular recruiter had been extremely responsive throughout the entire process and suddenly went “dark”. It’s very telling.

$450.00 for 4 pills WOW!!
Now it all makes sense, the strange aggressive behavior from shawn, the bizarre treatment from tina and the recruiters...

They are so f ucked after that webMD article hit, first of many I’m sure. “The price is outrageous” and “This drug is not necessary... Few women should need it”.

Extremely damaging and they deserve it!!

it’s actually hilarious, whoever shared the link-thank you!

Good sales reps will sell this drug. Maybe you aren’t the right fit
