Hybrid sales force

if the one rep can be successful, why can’t the rest of you?

Because you're clearly a gigantic a**hole, Ty Evans. I'm not impressed. Quite the history, I see too. Not at all surprised. My review: NEEDS TO BE TERMINATED. Lacks an overall sense of management skills, people skills, ANALYTICS, critical thinking skills, emotional intelligence, professional attire (nice tracksuit), competence, and most importantly is one of the most despised, unqualified managers in the industry. 20 years of negative reviews and gets hired by Scynexis. He's just a dead white guy. Way to go, Scynexis! You've hired a real winner. I guess you couldn't find anyone more qualified after all the conflict you created. Oh, and every sentence begins with a capital letter.

Did you even do a background check on Ty Evans or ensured that he graduated high school? The reps bring more talent to the table but people like Ty Evans don't know how to effectively manage a highly qualified group of sales professionals.

Things just keep getting worse and worse. Expense reports have not been paid. Corporate credit cards are declined. This is THE MOST DYSFUNCTIONAL COMPANY I have ever worked for. Sad too because it could have been entirely different had they kept and worked with the original talent they had. Brexafemme is a scientific breakthrough of epic proportions. This product should be doing way better but I'm afraid it might be too late to save unless someone comes in to effectively analyze and address all of the underlying issues. I think that both Scynexis and Amplity need assistance but mostly Scynexis. Amplity cannot control how Scynexis chooses to run their company.

P.S. "DON'T DISCUSS MANAGED CARE WITH YOUR PROVIDERS", says Ty Evans. It's one of the most important questions asked by every provider! Who says that? Duh.

Yeah, management just keeps getting worse. TE is by far the least qualified, end of the road manager and he is definitely not well-respected. Also, has anyone noticed other strange tactics like deliberate stalling of expense report/mileage reimbursements? I've never experienced such dysfunction. The grass isn't always greener, but in this case, I'll take any other color.

Yes, I have also noticed delayed expense report reimbursements. Scynexis is broke, we won't be around much longer.

Who’s the idiot(s) that keeps saying Scynexis is running out of money?!?! This from their 4Q results (end of March): “Based on cash balance at December 31, 2021 and operating plan, SCYNEXIS has a projected cash runway into the second quarter of 2023.”

Another one bites the dust. No one deserves being fired more than hope! Ms. “I’m gonna make this district #1 in the nation.” And then proceeded to kill the morale and run off most of her reps. Hope she learned some life lessons from this, but I doubt it—she’ll probably blame her massive failure on everyone else.

the new New England manager who was just hired?

What does it matter?

This is a dying company.

The stock lost over 50% of its value this month, and around 30% of it happened in a single day. (April 22nd-23rd).

it doesn’t matter who is no longer in with the company and why.

everyone on both sides will be looking for new positions sooner rather than later.

Hope Batts. She was that teams second manager since onboarding in July. The attrition here is unreal.

Anyone know if she left by choice or was fired?

Does it matter? Ask yourself this.

do you feel secure long term?

do you believe in the company?

Have you been lied to about targets and coverage?

why has there been so much turn over, and is that ever a good sign?

Fired, for sure. She had all her reps running for the exits. She would deny vacation, while ON vacation, herself. She has ZERO people skills. It was all about making herself look good, which of course, never happened. This is one person who DOES NOT belong in mgmt.

Good employee, bad employee or just someone trying to do their job, don’t directly name people.

It is just unprofessional to name someone on a page like this.

There are/ were plenty of good employees at both companies, but no body anonymously names them.

This partnership has been less than successful for both companies, but I would suggest the more professional and more mature move would be to move on, or weather the storm.

At this point you know what the contract is, and what expectations are.

The choice is yours.

One of the nice things about this website is that people can get on here and anonymously call out HORRIBLE managers. People who NEVER should be in another mgmt position, like Hope Batts. One of her last acts in this position was to insist upon completing a ride along with a rep who had just told her that her father passed. This is not minor stuff that could be interpreted in a more positive way.

I understand the sentiment, I really do.
Wouldn’t be the first time the two companies forced someone back to work while in deep mourning.

But the internet isn’t anonymous.

Just be careful, and don’t use names.

The field reps were never a part of the long term plan, it was all about selling an asset to the highest bidder, it happens in this industry, all Im saying is don’t make enemies you don’t need.
