How to destroy field medical

Ladies and gentlemen... right here on this thread is the exact toxic culture at Genentech that was the reason why I left that shitshow. A bunch of unhappy ppl lead by terrible leadership that constant change things and ppl just talking shit about each other. What a great place to work!!! Let me know tell you THE GRASS IS GREENER!

Watch HA do a fireside chat for this - he loves those as long as you don’t ask tough questions or ask for details.

Regarding insights and metrics, open source your data. Most of it from ZS is smokescreen and they are double counting and oversimplifying

I love how people plead to Rav as if he reads these threads or cares about culture.

He’s here for Medical headcount reduction. Maybe they’ll blame it on recession but we know that’s his MO - that’s what he did in Med Info and most of his previous roles.

he doesn’t care about culture - not unless that’s the plot line for Ted Lasso Season 3.

When is the release date?

Novartis is going through a major restructure with layoffs, right after they switched to metrics and Veeva.

you think Rav isn’t here for decreasing headcount and reducing costs? Watch them blame the recession.

someone save us from OM ... so self promoting and self righteous talk about zero self awareness!

CS if you're reading this please do something otherwise you will see good MSLs leave!

OM is ok as a manager. Not all of his direct reports have issues with him (most direct reports actually like him) and it’s a handful that do and they have brought it up to CS.

Thoughts about the micromanager AC from Ophtha?

AC has potential with the right coaching. Her heart is in the right place but room to improve the way she empowers her people and trusting that we are all capable (more than capable) in doing our jobs. The problem is -who is going to coach her with the Head being spread so thin across so many teams it isnt realistic. Some managers are terrible some with potential and others that are good and really fight for their people but without the right coaching and development those with potential will never grow and will eventually become intolerable. It's not just us MSLs that need coaching it's some of these FDs and MEDs who really need to coaching!

AC is a great individual contributor but not a leader. Not humble enough to let anyone coach her, bullies her direct reports. Just do an anonymous survey of her direct reports and the truth will come out.
