How to destroy field medical





People are leaving this place because it got so bad, mainly due to the so called leaders.

The so called leaders are so out of touch with reality. They either will say the company prepared them for their next position or the person was a problem.

The big problem is the so called leaders. HR just protects them and does not care about us.
 
















My opinion is Medical is getting a little easier to work with in my Ecosystem for
MS. The FD for West gets it and wants to work with us and this is coming from a commercial perspective but I do hear other of the MSL Mgmt in other brands not going as well.
 












Question - who is more incompetent? Our President and Vice President or some of our field directors? I guess it depends on what team you are on. In my case, it is a tough call which is pretty depressing seeing what is going on in Washington and around the world.
 








Same goes to many of the leaders from GNE who were kept. There was no vetting done. They kept people who should not be employed by any company. JF failed and that is why she was exiled to Basel.
 




Let’s please be real and transparent. We need to take a good deep look at our own practices as well. I could do better myself. Yes JF, PH, KH: stink, stank, stunk. There are various FMT folks who need to evaluate their interest and contribution. It’s pretty awful when an MSL in the Bay Area boasted that she took the job so she can spend all day hanging out at the beach. And it’s pretty bad when another MSL tells me that she’s in it so she can cook all day. I really am so disappointed with our leadership, but we have to buck it up a bit and take responsibility for our contributions too. I’m hoping we can reset our team and now be better.
 




That's gonna be a real short list!!! Still some good-great MSLs, but in leadership roles, nada. Even new guys who are pretty good managers, like TO, are really just advancing their careers. TO is one, though, that is ambitious and not just some sycophant. He truly cares about people and is just ambitious, so you can't fault the man for that.

HAHAHAHA!!! TO is one of the worst, as soon as he went from MSL to FD he showed that he really only cares about himself. Most passive aggressive and fake out of them all. It’s all about him don’t let anyone tell you different. He Screwed up the biggest launch this year and he’s still is here how does that happen! PH kiss up that’s why…

The MSLs described in the recent post spoil it for everyone. Yes, there have been some bad new hires with the reorg. Why - poor leadership. I've been an MSL at three different companies. This place has some of the worst leaders I've ever seen. They are not genuine people. They think they are better than us with their titles. Many of them should not be in leadership. Some should not be employed by any respectable Pharma company or any company for that matter.

PH and KH are great examples of people who have CVs that look good and know how to kiss ass and manage up. Most people that worked under them can't stand them. They just give the corporate BS speak and think they sound smart but we all know better. Several of the field directors under KH are pretty weak too. Zero self awareness. Zero credibility.
 




This place is mostly destroyed already. One or two good teams or leaders here but the overall morale is bad if you want to know the truth. The pinheads running the show are just as bad as the senile guy in Washington. They will never change as they are either brainwashed by CNN, living in the communist city of SF or just the worst leaders one could ever find.

As people continue to leave, the morale will just continue to do downhill.

The only way to change things is to clean house but the leaders continue to condone, cover up or be complicit to the incompetence that is pervasive in this place.

During the big recent reorg, mindset was one of those popular buzzwords. The mindset of the leadership is the problem. Not all the good people that left and continue to leave. Why does someone at the top not stop and ask WTF is going on here. If resignations of good employees was a metric, then Genentech would be tops in the industry.
 




Whoever replied about TO is hilarious. PH and KH are running Communist China. All of us normal people are just working for the People’s Liberation Army.

The people on top are cool. It’s the low rung people that suck.

to PH and KH: go back to Tianaman Square and see how the People’s Liberation Army dealt with Communism. Your leadership style EXPIRED in the 80s. Being a tough guy to enforce is over.
 




So true about PH and KH. Their styles don't inspire anyone and it is rubbing off on their direct reports.

Simply said PH is a mean nasty person.

Top top leadership doesn’t have a clue what is going on as they change too frequently and when new, they depend on folks like PH and KH to help educate, indoctrinate, and support them which create a quid pro quo type of protective environment for them to continue to make blank, steam-roll anyone that challenges their BS, etc. It won’t last forever but the damage to the organizations and downstream individuals will.

PH doesn’t give a flip about people or if she is liked or not. She takes that negatively and flips it to say that folks don’t like her because she holds them accountable which is a ‘expectation’ of the job. Whatever comes her way, she manipulates it to her advantage and naive new upstream leaders buy it.
 




The real question is; how do these people get into leadership?

KH’s journey line was all about him. It was incredulous. He put up a picture of his grandfather and then proceeded to say why he became him. Get an identity pal.
