How Long Until Novo Has to Layoff

Anyone have any inside information on if Novo will have to lay-off anyone as a result of the CV pandemic?
Will there be a reorganization this fall again or not since we are in the middle of a launch for Rybelsus, plus Ozempic is killing it, Victoza, Novolog and Tresiba is pure profit since no one is selling these products and we have another obesity product coming out in 18 months?

What are you working on a news story? Another hit-piece against big pharma? Go somewhere else please, we all have enough to worry about.

Agreed!!!
This is effecting every industry, the best thing we can do is stay calm, avoid speculation and help others in anyway we can. A lot of struggling Americans out there right now, friends, family, acquaintances, just be a good person.

I think what we all need to worry about is that our products are still moving. And going strong. They are going to realize now, more then ever that they do not need so many of us. It’s time to be worried. Good luck to all.

Agreed. This is nothing but a learning experience for the future sales model of the company. This industry is going to come out of this mess a lot stronger than others.

What, or should I say who, is gonna fix this mess you doo doo bird? All Pharmaceutical companies will get a halo because WE ARE THE ONES THAT WILL FIX THIS.

Pharma is the safest industry to be in at the moment.

Probably not true. If you sell material goods to hospitals, you’re making a mint right now. People will still take their medicine, which will keep the pharma companies performing fine, but offices will restrict access for a long time to come. It won’t take the penny pinchers very long to realize they can still perform well with fewer sales reps and/or virtual sales calls instead of live ones. This is going to have a long lasting impact on our jobs.

worried that products still moving? Ummmmmm....did people stop having diabetes?
Virtual detailing has been tried. Didn’t have the expected impact and ROI was terrible. Industry access will mirror patient access.
Count your blessings. The doom and gloom crowd are just a bunch of washouts running their mouth.

Hmmm...perhaps this also changes the way patients visit their provider. And, to say “virtual detailing has been tried” is a gross misrepresentation of the truth.

But, like you, I hope things stay the same as they were before CV. I’m just enough of a realist to recognize that they won’t.

Keep the reps, lay off very expensive middle management , most of whom have never met a customer or even understand the market conditions we face.

Of course. That’s always the answer - “Let’s get rid of leadership and keep unsupervised, entry level employees!” Sounds like a plan concocted by a moron...oops, I mean a DCS.

Middle Management=Leadership
Lmfao
All you are is a buffer for the people above you to not hear the real issues of the field when dealing with actually customers.
That’s why not one single one of you DBMs ever stand up and tell an RBD the real situation...when an RBD wants to get in the field you scramble to set up a “glory day” with a rep to call in favors to THEIR customers...

Run Along, Approve an Expense Report or Jump on a Conf Call that means absolutely nothing!!!!
Joke of a job.
Oh, and Write Up another 2Day field ride that you worked 3 hours total, because all of the reps know you are useless to them.
Customers Hate You, Reps Think You’re a Waste....Prove Your Worth.
This ShutDown proved one thing, you’re not needed...Shit, u DBMs ask Reps to Run Conf Calls and frame it as “development Opps”
(Can’t Even do that)

hmmmm, there are reps with more business experience and education then some of the managers. Entry level employees?? Who is out of touch?
