Teva has agreed to enhanced severance packages for the Israeli layoffs while announcing to us that they are cutting the severance packages for those laid off here. The improved severance packages were just announced in Israel. Anyone that still wants to do the right thing by this company deserves what they will surely get.

The unions in Israel don't play. They had to increase the Israel employee package and to make up for that they had to cut somewhere.....the U.S.

Bredan O'Grady told everyone on the conference call that they felt they were paying more than industry average for severance and would be revisiting that policy to be more in line with the industry. We all know that 2 weeks per year is on the low end of the industry as it is, but they plan to cut it further while negotiating with the Israelis for better packages.

The new severance policy is up on the website. Two weeks for every year up to max of 26 weeks. Sounds fine to me.
 






There are many kool aid drinking managers that are trying to brain wash their teams. They are trying not to lose people because if they don't have many people on their team, how important is their job going to be in the lay offs?

It is irresponsible of managers to say that people won’t be laid off. They do not know and they very likely could be laid off as well. It isn’t fair to reps or their families to be saying that sales won’t be laid off.

It’s irresponsble for a REP to even be listening to their manager about such things. THINK FOR YOURSELF! Look at the signs. Do your research on the Internet. You only have yourself to blame if you are listening to some over the hill district manager, some slimey euro area director or fat Sales Director

Can’t speak for rest of the country but if you are out west and you listen to any of the managers out here then you are a bigger imbecile than them. All they do is regurgitate what their clown of an AD tells them to say. I take that back. They do one other thing, they look away from all the unprofessional things their AD does and says. Who in the world could ever respect managers like that who say nothing and allow all the unprofessionalism to go?
They are all jokes and I quite frankly can’t see how any of them are able to look at themselves in the mirror.

If you think managers are the only ones who should be ashamed for looking the other way, then you are wrong. the great majority of sales reps are aware of or have seen things go on and have also looked the other way. A few have indeed filed suits but that has been the rare few. HR, Legal, and CC all look the other way as well. There is plenty of blame to go around in this regard.
 




































WTF? It boggles the mind that people are actually still believing the managers bs. Teva is over and layoffs will be coming soon. I find it hard to believe that some aren’t even looking. What is wrong with you people?
 






They need to let people know their fate asap. No one is doing anything until they know. This company is a revolving door of constant yearly layoffs. This will continue until there is nothing left to layoff. Dead end road any way you look at it.
