Let me guess you are some scoccer mom housewife who works a total of 2 hours a day and is clueless regarding everything other than ordering lunches for your accounts.
Under CCs watch this division has had failed launch after failed launch after failed launch.
From what I have observed there has been no oversight what so ever of some of the most unprofessional ADs in the industry IMO under his watch.
I have been here 9 years and in that time I have never heard of him riding with any colleagues out in the field. Other Pharma companies SDs ride with field reps at least once if not twice a month to stay informed and engaged with the field.
He is either uninformed, incompetent, or just plan doesn’t care. Not the attributes of a leader.

You make it a point to mention you are from the field not once but TWICE which leads me to believe you are NOT from the field but probably some in-house person with a GED who works for CC and has no clue to what a real SD actually does or should be doing.

Where are all those loud mouth know it alls who were poo poo'ing this thread a few weeks ago saying relax, everything is good, no layoffs, Teva hasn't made any announcements blah blah blah, this thread is untrue, thread was started by someone who didn't know anything blah blah blah?

I hope you r the first to go.
You r not doing your colleagues any favors. They should know the truth so they are prepared.
There has been lots of hiring at other companies goIng on in November and the beginning of December. If they had been told the truth they could have taken part in those interviews. But people like yourself have been spewing false hope.
Shame on you.
The silence is deafening. Let me ask you why hasn’t the company just come out and say they aren’t letting anyone go after all the media reports saying just the opppsite?Dummy

I mean, duh. Yes, there will be some layoffs, but according to news reports, nearly half will be in R&D. It's stupid to talk like everyone is going to be let go. Stop acting like you know what is going to happen because you don't. We will hear soon enough what the plan is, but until then stop spewing your opinion on what you think is going to happen until you have solid information from the company. Duh.

So half will be in R&D. Interesting, what do you think that means for the specialty divisions long term? Our credit is at junk status, what do you think that means for the long term viability of the company? Maybe you won’t be cut right now, but it doesn’t take a genius to see the writing on the wall.

you're trying to fit a square peg into a round hole trying to talk sense into this DUH guy. Duh guy knows it all. Save yourself some time. I only hope Duh guy doesn't have a family so he will be the only one hurt and not drag his family through it while his head stays stuck in the sand.

It seems like 10K is a pretty accurate number unfortunately. No one knows all of the specifics in terms of how much each division will be hit but all intel points to every division will be effected to some extent. Hopefully, we'll know soon
