In the last year, every large publicly traded medical company has blamed poor revenue on elective procedure pauses and hospital staffing issues along with supply chain hiccups. What all of them fail to discuss is that the government cut off the free money handouts they willingly took to artificially inflate their stock prices.

The problem with socialism is you eventually run out of other people’s money. In this case, big medical has run out of government handouts. But not to worry, ALL the board members and CEOs have gotten obscenely wealthy in the last few years. It’s you middle-class workers who are paying the price now in stagnant wages, layoffs, inflation, and piss poor career opportunities due to acquisitions and consolidation.

Exactly, our leadership could be some of the worst in the S and P 500. These guys spend money like a drunken democrat with someone else’s credit card and then they look to us to pay their tab. Cowards, thieves, and losers.

I am afraid you might the dimmest bulb on the board. Medtronic is by far the worst at blaming everyone but their leadership. I mean for the love of Pete, even crazy Jim Cramer has been saying this for 18 months. Are you telling us that there is another large medical device company performing worse than we are? You do realize our stock price is back at COVID levels, right? Wake up, MDT is by far the worst. Even the Minneapolis Star Tribune finally came out and started to bad mouth the golden child of the mid west. Back orders..check. Failing stock price…check. Highest rate of Federal corrective actions…check. What am I missing friendo?

Geoff Martha figured out that if he became the most woke CEO it would be difficult for the board to fire him amongst all of the diversity and inclusion talk in the country today. But, there’s only so long that black rock and the likes will allow this stock to tumble before saying enough is enough. You are on borrowed time Geoff, start packing so we don’t have to make this awkward. There is a very good chance that Medtronic will have a lost decade of no returns. This is a very real scenario. If your holding onto this stock hoping and praying it will get back to $100, please cut your losses now and put your money elsewhere. Coming from a current employee; all I see are lawsuits, FDA issues, back orders, and of course more woke non sense coming. Get out while you can.
