Fresenius Kabi

You’ll have to ignore some of the immature people on here. The Biosimilars are very easy to sell. You don’t really sell them. It’s a financial sell. Our Biosimilars distinguish themselves from others by being less expensive. The Biosimilar are driven by our pricing and managed care. Biosimilars are not a clinical sell. The goals have been reasonable so far. We are still what you would consider a start up as far as our division. Managed care can be an issue, but that part is out of the sales reps hands and up to our payer/marketing team.
Therein lies the problem...drugs aren't sold; they are prescribed, by independent medical professionals, or if managed care, dispensed per formulary (= no sales rep needed)

Recently had a phone screen here for an open consolidated position between immunology and oncology. Been in the industry for a long time and don’t want to make a bad decision when I’ve literally got six years left until retirement . Curious what this company is really all about and is it remotely worth my time at this point in my career. Honest answers are appreciated. Thank you.
Don’t waste your time on this Cluster Fuck of a company. Leadership is a complete and total fiasco and have shown the door. Soon the rest of the Managed Markets team will get exposed for being the composers that they all are. Little to no coverage with zero accountability.

Pre-dominantly all TEVA rejects with zero critical thinking skills. Sales Leadership are a bunch of two faced corporate sycophants who have zero leadership skills. They are all just stealing a paycheck until the disaster of a company in finally shut down.

Most of the former leadership team was shown the door for their ineptitude.

There is some truth to all of this. Things haven’t exactly gone well. I’m. I won’t be staying here but it’s not a terrible company. Prolly in over their heads I’d say.

A lot of sales reps have left the company in the past year and a half. Things can be frustrating. You really have to have patience and understanding if you decide to come here. It’s not a terrible place to work or the nightmare people make it out to be. At the same time the company has messed up song the way and cause a lot of people to leave.
I’ll pass. Seems like there’s way too much uncertainty and instability at the company. Apparently all senior management from the original set up was fired or let go six months ago. It appears that the company is assembling the plane as it’s going down the runway in the hopes that it eventually takes off. Not the kind of thing I would have much interest in at this point in my career. But thank you for all the honest insights.

Good choice. It really is an up and down roller coaster here at FK

So this “could” be a potential problem. Does FK really need all the Account Managers? Could FK do with fewer Account Managers? These Biosimilars are driven by coverage, not the Account Managers.

I have seen more people leave Fresenius Kabi in the past two years than I have seen in 20 years of Pharma. Frightening.
Because it’s a shit company. All of it. Not just the biosims. Run by a bunch of German socialists. Be prepared to be underpaid, treated like a number, and subject to all the DEI and LGQBT bullshit.

Account managers definitely should get paid more. Issue is that the company isn’t really making any money.

Recruiter told me 155k comp plus $9500 a quarter target bonus. Also was told $600 for car allowance. I laughed at the $600 in this market when factor increased vehicle and maintenance cost. Recruiter actually laughed as well and said it was pretty low but nothing they could do about it, it’s what the company offers, but was already detouring talent.
