Lca loses sj in Westlund vs. labcorp on both sexual harassment and retaliation. The judge ruled that a mandatory mediation in front of the magistrate judge is mandated this coming week. Labcorp has been getting away with this behavior for years. The plantiff will likely settle and lca will continue with the same behavior. It's very predictable.

Looks like previous mgr tn was found to have provided conflicting stories causing the judge to rule in favor of Westlund vs lca.
Any news on the MW case today? Was it settled, or shall it go to a jury?
Latest update is that she did not settle, looks like she is going to sacrifice her herself for the betterment of all future Labcorp employees, you all should thank her and support her! ALL OTHERS HAVE SETTLED BECAUSE OF THE STRESS> looks like she will not. Labcorp WILL be exposed in a trial by Jury, and they will be made to be a public disgrace so that they will refrain from this type of behavior in the future, or at least, PAY OUT THE ASS FOR THIS INSTANCE! go out and see how hard your people work,walk in their shoes,they are human beings and maybe if you didn't place so many demands and stopped leaving your employees alone to handle the patients and technical processing alone, customer service would be better and the techs wouldn't be so stressed and wouldn't be accused of being rude,NO ONE SHOULD BE LEFT ALONE ,you are the secretary/,phlebotomist and all around technician,house keeper and somewhere in there you have to squeeze in lunch if you are lucky,oh and you are required to not take anymore that 10
min per patient,yeh sure right,slam bang out the door that's real good service,tons of paper work statistics back up checks all by your self with a big fat old smile..You had Drug testing Paternity testing and Patients waiting and getting more and more ticked off but there were policies and procedures that had to be followed,but those waiting didn't understand so they treated you rudely but turned you in for rudeness b/c they were mad they had to wait and rightly so,ONE person office in a busy Medical building and sity poor management..You have lost the human aspect of the job,When this company was Roche they cared about their employees and you saw a sales
rep,unlike today,..It's like being out in the middle of the ocean with sharks swimming around with no safety net and you drown a little more every day until they Kick you out.Nobody cares,they are all worried about their own career advancements,all the good supervisors left or were driven out.....I loved my job and I truly cared about my patients but my company didn't give a crap about ME All about the %%%% and ###### surveys ...We lost soooooo many good workers who were there ten years or more ,driven out.. It's all about the numbers and if the numbers aren't met out ya go.... 2yrs and I'm still deeply hurt, I was a dedicated employee............

I hope Congress and Fed's find out the truth about LabCorp. I have been in so many meetings that discuss expensive, unnecessary tests and sales slides with Medicare reimbursement. This company could care less about what is best for the patient. LCA only cares about the Stock price. D.K. and the Sales directors are behind these deliberate strategies to Milk Medicare and insurance companies. Investigate and you will find this to be true. Ask the SME's, KAE's & Specialty reps. Medicare is going broke and this company is coaching their sales people to continue to drain that money.

You are such a prick! All I hope is they give LabCorp Millions of dollars worth of fines. We all know that is why D.K. sold his stock and is expecting this to happen. BC, Cigna, UHC and the rest should really see what goes on behind the scenes. This is the worst possible lab you could partner with. Nobody likes LabCorp! Does anyone know the name of the case where LCA was sanctioned for discovery abuse in FL? We want to use this in our case and trying to locate it.
This case goes back to the Nelson and Farrell regime. Two good ole boys who had it in for someone more successful than them. They both got sent out of florida and are paying the price now. Nelson is a plump little napolian and Farrell continues to be his yes man in Texas, meanwhile fl has been left a disaster zone with over 100m in lost revenue because of their stupidity!
