Unfortunately, this negative opinion is at least 80% of Sophie and Jodi's team members.
They are both bad managers a almost everyone thinks so.
And what does Scott do? Nothing because his hands are guided by HR.
 



















GSK does not get rid of their toxic mangers.
They just allow them to destroy other peoples careers.
Scott P., great job to allow these toxic manger to thrive thru their bad tactics.

The problem with any bad management at gsk is how the entire system works. Reps fill out a 180 survey and the manager knows who said or checked what- resulting in retaliation. And even if the whole team says something, then MAYBE an avp coaches them, which again results in making the reps life miserable. The system is designed to protect management. Sophie has had HR called about her multiple times... but nothing has happened. And nothing will. Both she and Jodi are in over their heads, and nothing will come of it.

Just another reason to stay way from Glaxo.

Sounds like incompetence in management over and over again.

I don't know these ladies, Jodi or Sophie but it seems there is a lot of agreement that they should be removed from their positions and potentially offered a rep role. Then you can only hope that they have the same S... dumped on them that they have dished out to their reps.

Im fairly certain that his VP wants to get rid of him, however with that many years of service they’re probably banking on him retiring soon. Odds are he’ll keep playing the game until presented a package. Sorry for everyone that has to keep dealing with him.

Big pharma deal with the likes of John Powers by allowing him to ruin people's careers to make him look better.
Gsk is no different in this instance than Catholics who close their eyes to abusive behavior from authorative positions.
Shame on Gsk for allowing him to co ti up or even giving him a package to get rid of him.
I hope potentially top re recruits to Gsk see this post and STAY AWAY.

Good analogy. Gsk has done nothing but protect people like powers and others on this post. And that won’t change any time soon.
