Fixing Heartware?

“I ‘m not here to shut things down” - famous last words.

When that asshole says that next understand you only have limited time. He’ll keep landing on his feet though as Medtronic is backed into a corner. Optics of holding him accountable would be terrible. I’ll be holding the door for when Geoff finally resolves this issue-the door to the trash.

"when Geoff finally resolves this issue"? LOL Geoff is the global leader of chicken-sh*ts, he won't do anything, don't hold your breath

NN looks and acts like he hasn’t got a care in the world. Geoff has already told him his safe landing spot once he gets rid of this turkey and the fools like us that tried to make it work.

We are fools for believing in him as a leader. Multiple meetings I have been on with him where he is shopping not realizing he’s sharing his screen. He couldn’t be bothered to show up at a meeting, in Framingham, at a customer meeting or at a show. I was amazed at his reasoning each time he had an excuse to not show up. Medtronic promoting bad leaders like this shows us all that they have lost their way.

I question how non-altruistic his motives were.

This is true. Ive seen his multitasking screen share slip ups. Had to listen to reps rant about his blowing off their requests. This is a guy who always knew this was a short term gig - either fix it or shut it down, doesnt matter to him.

I disagree with the majority here. I’m inspired by NN. I always doubted myself that I could lead an organization. Then I saw what it takes.

If I show up more than 2x/month, go to one conference, go see one surgeon in a year—-those simple actions are 100% more than what NN did.

Holy crap that article today. What a cluster.
