Criticizing NN’s performance does not make someone a racist. Sorry, but irrespective of color, gender, religion, etc…if someone is not engaged with solving the issues the business is facing, he is a poor leader. I like that he was engaged with ADN, but would have settled if he was equally engaged in running the business he was supposed to lead. He was a poor leader for us. Period.

He has consistent track record and performance. Team is spelled “I” in NN’s world. A lot of great people are going to loose their jobs, but they’ll find a place to put this bad leader.

I did work in pelvic health when he was put in charge. I have all the facts and was there. The business finally started to recover when he left to go destroy another business and we replaced him with someone that was engaged, provided leadership and showed up. At least he is consistent.

He was at Pelvic Health when they bought NURO tibial and failed that product launch and therapy. So, yes, consistent performance.

Transplant market is a small community of docs. You need to commit. Abbotts had some people in role for 20 years and they’ve got credible docs. NN just treated MCS like a P/L problem and now he’s just managing to his shutdown target leaving us to mop up and find new jobs ourselves.

This. For sure he’ll get a high profile ethics award, maybe get some external press exposure to talk about his leadership…. Then on to bigger and better things to destroy.

Wrong direction? Non existent is more accurate. As a leader you are responsible for the investment decisions to grow, fix, and deliver result for a business. There have been problems for years that NN inherited, but he did not make any decisions to fix.

BS - Medtronic makes lots of complicated stuff. This was about leadership, a failure of leadership and failure to get invested in the business. NN is too transactional to ever really care about LVADS or the customers or patients.
