You say “white man” and “white boy” a lot in this thread. You’re really angry and bitter. I’m not quite sure if your position is to fight for equality opportunity for all, fight for a disproportionate % for women and minorities or if you are just racist.

You won’t get people of a progressive train being racist and you come off terribly.
 








this isn’t about race at all - its just that NN would rather spend time on ADN projects than our customers any day of the week, and everyone is tired of it.

outline what you are doing to drive business success- growth, revenue etc. No fluff. Hard facts. Its really easy to judge and hid behind racism but most people with such negative comments are NOT rockstars either.

I like to think that we have really smart employees but suggesting that participating in ERG erodes ones ability to be a good business leader is simply STUPID.

Use a better argument and provide solutions. What would you do to turn it around? If I recall correctly, things were sour before NN arrived in the BU but I guess people have amnesia too.
 
































I don’t know one person that has ever considered him {NN} a leader. Geoff, this isn’t getting fixed until you make a change and lead. We are drowning. I get the optics and he’s untouchable. Leaders don’t worry about optics-they worry about what’s right.

Another alternative is to give him another award he didn’t earn, but please get him out from heartware.

You don't know one person?...you probably only talk to people who are just like you and thus, only get confirmation bias. If you diversified your sample, your statement would not longer be valid. There are a lot of people who would completely disagree with you. Seek them out to broaden your perspective.

Did you work in Pelvic? Perhaps not bc you comment suggests that you dont have all the facts especially about the scope of the situation in Pelvic Health.
 








It does not matter how bad NN is leading a business. What matters is getting controller fixed and winning in the marketplace.

Let’s move NN to inclusion diversity role and get this business a leader that can deliver. Our challenges are too great to have someone only minimally engaged and does not know how to turnaround a business. Can we do a field vote?

When is this guy leaving? He’s never around. He is not engaged. Spends more time mentoring people and doing erg stuff than working. We can’t turn this around until we get a real leader.

Show up, be engaged, develop a plan to remediate the quality issues on the pump and provide leadership. How’s that for a simple start?

You’re putting your thoughts into it. Real leader do both the mentoring and the business performance. If everyone thinks like you do we’ll be bankrupt in a few years.

Criticizing NN’s performance does not make someone a racist. Sorry, but irrespective of color, gender, religion, etc…if someone is not engaged with solving the issues the business is facing, he is a poor leader. I like that he was engaged with ADN, but would have settled if he was equally engaged in running the business he was supposed to lead. He was a poor leader for us. Period.
