Hey Loser: Quit spreading false narratives! Note this recent review of The Dolphin - "This hotel is AMAZING. We were there for 5 nights, but should have done more. We should have done a resort day because we didn’t have time to do all the resort activities. The Dolphin is a great location to easily get to Epcot and Hollywood. The hotel is clean, the beds are so comfortable and they have great restaurants. The hotel staff is so friendly and helpful. I can’t think of one negative thing and can’t wait to go back!"

you can’t be serious??who cares what someone said regarding the hotel in a review. If they are used to staying at the Econo Lodge then yes, it’s a nice hotel. Its not a 4-5 star hotel by any means.
 












Stop complaining about the hotel. It’s fine for a meeting. Not like it’s an award trip. What’s annoying is it’s in Orlando.

If flying from the west coast you can’t leave on Monday and get there by the time they want you there. You have to either fly in on Sunday or take a red eye. The meeting registration states will honor hotel requests for Sunday it can’t get there on Monday in time, but you received annoying emails from the meeting planners asking why you are arriving Sunday, when it’s obvious. It’s like a surprise to them this is an issue. Do they not consider flights and arrival times when planning these stupid meetings?

All to hurry there for a 1 hour general session in which our weak leaders pat themselves on the back, followed by a buffet dinner. Could they not just wait until morning to pat themselves on the back?
We could travel in, order room service, rest and be refreshed and ready to go Tuesday morning. Instead, we will stand in multiple lines of mass chaos all so we can rush in to a useless general session and start the week harried and annoyed.
Apparently any idiot can be a meeting planner.

Hey Loser: Apparently, since you read this review, you’re aware it’s a family vacation resort. We will not be with our families, nor will we be on vacation, nor will we have time for resort activities.
We will be in endless general sessions and buffet meals.
All I care about is proximity to the airport, a nice room, and an infrastructure capable of handling our sales force moving at the same time. (Does anyone remember the endless elevator lines in Dallas?!)

I wouldn’t. Our team was laid off today with no warning and we had already purchased tickets and booked hotels for the meeting. Even though we are expected to work through April we are no longer going to the meeting. Half of us just started in October too.
