Fall car order???

Car order did have Rav4
Yes. For some reason, some reps were given the option between a Rav4 and an Escape, while other reps were given the option of a Camry or an Escape. Doesn't make sense to me, but that's where we are. No one was given more than 2 choices. Color choices were extremely limited as well, at least on the Escape. White, black, silver, or grey, despite Ford offering 10 free colors.

Chip shortage has hurt all fleet sales. GM pretty much out of contention as no hybrid sedan or small SUV. Toyota could not provide the numbers it once could, at least for the next year. Subaru not a major hybrid player, and Nissan not producing substantial numbers of hybrids--remember, our company is committed to going green, and none of the manufacturers are not producing great numbers of cars right now. Color choices on Escape are influenced by resale value, because the ones offered are the most popular. Less popular colors (even though they may be the one you like) harm the car's value when it goes up for auction.

If you think you will get a great price on your own fleet car when it comes time to replace it, think again. Go to kbb.com, look at the car's trade in value, add about $2000. That is what your offer will be. If your car has been pretty trouble free, they will generously throw in a 3 month 3000 mile warranty.

Above poster is correct. You must also remember that not only are fewer newer cars being manufactured (hybrid or gasoline) but the manufacturers are cutting the percentage of production they allocate to fleets to preserve retail sales, which are much more profitable. Tight supply=premium prices
