I was told 3 people advance for each territory for the f2f interviews. Did anyone else hear this information? I don't known of they make the decision on the spot. I was told that they are still hiring new managers so I wonder if you would actually interview with your potential manager in some situations.
 












I heard from the internal recruiter who contacted me a few weeks ago that we will hear today about moving forward. I am not sure what to believe at this point with inVentiv though. It seems a little shady that they expect us to go out of town for a f2f interview as early as next week and yet haven't told us when yet. I am new to contract, but I have to say that this is not off to a good start. With start dates about a month away, you would think they could at least narrow it down to 2 or 3 reps for each territory by now and let us know if we are moving forward or not.
If anyone hears anything today, please do us all a favor and post some details.
 






I think the contract in indefinite. You would have your own territory so maybe only if there is a downsizing or a rollover to direct hire. But since they are replacing direct hire reps with ventiv reps the

That's the way contract often rolls. Nothing shady.
 












I didn't get the call yet, but the recruiter keeps emailing me the same thing. He went over the details weeks ago and said I would be moved forward and now the interviews are taking place next week and he won't give me a straight answer. Does anyone know if this is just because it is a contract company? Obviously I am new to contract, but I am not sure what to think. I would need at least a week notice to make sure I am avail to leave town for a day or two and can't believe they don't know who they are going to interview yet. I am OK if I get passed over for this position, but it seems like some kind of game they play and won't be straight forward about it. If anyone gets called or emailed today letting them know they are going to interview next week, could you please post something so the rest of us know if we are going or not. Thanks.

That's a bit odd. Usually a contract company gives a certain amount of vacation plus the holidays the company observes. I know for a fact that Mallinckrodt gives the week OF Christmas not the week in between Christmas and New Years. So the 23 would be a holiday for them.

Idk. That's what I have in my notes. I thought date of 23 was odd to , maybe I wrote wrong dates. I was understanding interviews week of the 18. Who knows I got no call today anyway. Good luck I'm bummed
 






I got the call tonight for a f2f in NJ on Monday 11/11. I have heard from the recruiter everything posted above, except I do not know the "in the field" date. Good luck!
 


















I am glad to hear they confirmed at least one person for interviews, but we were all told the first round would be in Dallas next week, not NJ. Can you say what part of the country you are located in? Can anyone from the Washington state area clarify if they have been contacted for f2f, or anyone confirm if they are going to Dallas next week? I just find this all to be a little suspect since the recruiter I have talked to has told me a few different situations and now he is not getting back to me. I take it that I have probably been passed over, I know I am expecting miracles for someone to actually tell me the truth, but I thought I would at least ask. I don't understand inVentiv and the recruiters they have working for them. Nobody is going to commit suicide if they don't get this interview, its a shady contract at best, but at least have the common courtesy to let the reps know something.
 






Often the recruiters are given a very short window of turnaround so if you did not hear anything yesterday you Williston likely hear within a few days. Last year I interviewed with inventiv and received a phone call about f2f interviews 2 days prior to flying out . So they are probably working on the Monday interviews first and them moving on to the Tuesday interviews. By They tend to interview everyone in a certain district at the same time and move to the next district/state. Many districts probably have 4-6 new inventiv positions.
