Evil things going on at Astellas

I think if you are not working or doing illegal things, then that is one thing. I am a GSK rep and my poor Astellas rep is the hardest worker (overlap) that I have had and they have been horrible to them. I can't understand it b.c I know and work with this person everyday and they are hard working, doctors love them, knowledgeable, easy to work with and sales are fine. I just think Astellas may have some issues with the certain manager. I know all the GSK managers hate him and no one was impressed with him. That should tell Astellas something. Plus, more than one of our doctors has said they do not like this DM. WTF is Astellas doing this to good reps and letting shitty managers abuse and stay. I have no respect for what they have done to my coworker.
 






Wow, all this talk about 'bad managers' or bad 'HR' and nobody on this anonymous board wants to name names or talk about specifics except for Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs)? Let's get details and perhaps people could make a real case - or determine that these gripes are groundless.

I can't really sympathize when it's simply the infamous 'they' that folks are complaining about.

Here Here!!! WOW, someone gets it!!! All the anti-Astellas posts are from people who can't handle change. Life moves on folks! Did you really thinks Astellas could operate as a small "mom and pop" pharma company forever?!?!?! We'd be bought out if we didn't adopt some more modern practices...you HAVE A JOB, GET OVER IT!!!
 






I am thinking about seeking legal counsel on the illegal activities going on st this company.

I am glad I am not the only one that feels that way. I put in a good, honest days work and then some and while I feel blessed to have met MANY wonderful people at this organization and happy to have a job, the abuse and BS that I and others have been put through is not worth it. I say fight fire with fire is the only option in this economy. Do what you have to do to protect yourself, your livelihood, reputations and family.
 












Astellas managers, compliance, HR, a reckoning is close at hand smart guys...

I encourage anyone that is aware of the large scale corruption at Astellas to contact the FDA. Do not go to the compliance group. Prior experience has shown that they will immediately begin by destroying any evidence that they can find. And compliance will not protect you from retaliation. HR is a waste of time also. The agents at the FDA will be very happy to speak with you concerning Astellas. All complaints are taken seriously. All complaints are fully investigated.

A good manager knows how to motivate, inspire and coach! A bad manager micromanages, pits his people against each other and creates a sense of fear. Not hard to see what we have of more here at Astellas.

Evil must be industry wide. I work for another pharma co. and we used to have great mgrs that would motivate, inspire & coach and promote from within. Now we promote from the outside then they brought in gang micromanagement, fear & harrassment. HR was a joke it was obvious they are not in support of the employee but I am glad to have documented the abuse for whatever it was worth.
 






To the person that was in home office that witnessed criminal activity related to compliance, KOL's, etc. I saw your posts on here many times, but did you ever report these offenses to the FDA or other organization? I did, but am field based. I think showing that it is company wide and occurs internally as well as externally is only the right thing to do. I don't think Astellas should be breaking the law and risk hurting patients.
 






Number 39, who is going to trust who you say you are? HR and legal are capable
of trying to draw out responses so they can estimate whether or not they
have a problem brewing. There are many pending lawsuits against the company
in at least two Chicago law offices I know of.

The best way for an individual to proceed is to gather up all info, make lists and describe scenarios clearly and accurately. Read Illinois state employment law and determine
which of your rights have been violated. Then contact one of the top ten
employment lawyers in Chicago and schedule an evaluation meeting. Cost may
be nothing to 400.00 dollars or so. There are a couple of consultants who can help
you prepare dossiers. Only a couple of good ones. Ask around. Check with
staff at Deerfield, excluding Legal and HR.

As for violations of FDA law contact
the Chicago FDA office. They will be happy to meet with you.

I talked with FDA crimminal investigation division agents for two days while they took notes on every bit of lying cheating corrupt garbage that I was aware of going on at the home office. I am pretty sure that astellas sweetheart relationship with the FDA is well over.
I really believe that astellas only had a good relationship with the FDA because they were a relatively new player in the US and they were a small company so they kind of flew under the FDA radar for a while. I believe that currently the FDA is well aware that a bunch of crooks are running the place, astellas, especially in the compliance and HR groups.

These crooked managers at astellas are really a bunch of borderline psychotic, or full blown psychotic childish lying creeps. Really a background in basic psych and some fundamental linear reasoning skils is all one needs to spots these manager/chldren. I couldn't work there anymore once I saw what a bunch of clowns run the place.

Thank you so much for having the courage to report what you have seen. I too called the FDA and spoke to a duty agent. I gave her my account and she gave me a number to fax my evidence. I am trying to do the right thing. This has been a very difficult decision.

Thank you for coming forward. I know it is a hard and difficult decision to go to the FDA. In my case, I believed that I had no choice but to go to the FDA. When the crooks are the managers and wrong becomes right and right becomes wrong and promotions are based on who is willing to break the law, not ability, not quality of work CORRUPTION rules the day.
This is America for God's sake astellas managers, not North Korea, not Nazi Germany, Not the USSR.

I must say I have met some amazing and honest people during my career. However, it has been really heartbreaking to me in what I have experienced during my time at Astellas. I only hope someday there will be an end to where I can look back and laugh about "that shitty time and boss I had" when I worked for at Astellas. Right now, it is pretty raw and painful how much I, and many others, have been stabbed in the back and slandered without warrant. I don't feel like we deserved this abuse and it can only be described as pure evil. I truly believe my boss enjoys hurting people and the power trip he is on. I can only hope that he gets a piece of it himself someday.

There is enough jealousy, small mindedness, racism, apathy, greed, pestilence, fear and hatred in one astellas manager to fuel an entire army for one day.
 






I am baffled at the evil things I am seeing at Astellas. I never thought this company would harass employees as I am seeing right now. I makes me horribly sad and I hate it for the innocent people they are targeting. No retaliation if you go to HR...my ASS! It is disgusting and I wonder if it is happening nation wide.

I truly believe what comes around goes around and the people that are getting their jollies by destroying people's reputations and livelihoods...it will come back to them ten fold!!! Absolute evil on their parts and at least when my day of reckoning comes...I can say I didn't intentionally try to harm people for my own benefit. Those that are doing this, will have to answer someday.

To be at astellas, one must be insane enough to work with savage beasts...
