Agreed, the whole process was a cluster fuck. And the hotel was one of the worst I’ve stayed in years. Waiting for counter offer not sure if I’ll even take that.

So was I , not sure I will accept the offer if I get one. terrible interview process.

You know there is an issue when the DM level positions are calling themselves RDs... very high on themselves.
It is looking like most Praluent reps getting hired. This will surely backfire on them to a certain extant... Instead of hiring the reps that have good credentials and WANT to be a part of Esperion, they are hiring plug and play. Those same reps, that have always been part of big pharma are only taking these jobs because they NEED a job. The rude awaking will come in the next 12 months when 25% of the Praluent reps leave to go back to “big pharma”... Then? Hiring the person who wanted to be a part of Esperion instead looks like the best idea in retrospection...
 




not sure what to think. got a message a week ago telling me to get ready to STAR things. Talk about launch plan-which I think is cheesy. Then i get a message 2 days ago telling me saying not to worry about the launch plans but just to relax and tell us why they should hire us. When i got in there, all I got was no STAR, and all launch plans? then was told to go to the airport and will hear back within 5 days? Not sure that sounds good for me but seemed a little disorganized. Hmmmm..oh well
 




My interview was the fucking worst. All I got was a different guy doing all the talking. She wouldn't shut the fuck up. After seeing this train wreck, and hearing the over-in-fucking-flated egos, this isnt the place for me. What a fucking waste of time and their money. All I can say is they better make it really cheap. $70 for a 18% reduction when used as a single agent? Good fucking luck.

I am sure the DM’s did not decide their own title.

They would be crazy not to hire Praluent reps....every single one of them! They have the relationships, calendars full of appointments for next year, and full awareness of pulling through prior auths. Looks like a win win!

Because every Praluent rep killed it when they were supporting that product. That’s why they all were laid off. Full awareness of PA’s...maybe, but poor execution more like it. That’s a good one, buddy.

I feel so bad for you. You poor entitled fool. The hotel wasnt up to your standards? You mean the hotel where 1000's of business travelers stay a week but wasnt good enough for your pampered life? I hope you didnt get an offer. Oh and the cattle call? Youre right why should an entitled elitist have to interview for a job. Maybe just text an interview with you. Unreal
 




FYI if you are offered a virtual interview “because they are running behind”, that means that you are “wait listed” like in college. You have become the second choice as they have their ideal candidate already selected. They don’t want to tell you no until their first choice accepts the position. You still might get the job but only if the first choice declines.

To the clown that mentioned how the Praluent reps were good hires? You are a dunce. Some of those reps are good. Others? Ok. The rest? They will cause this drug to fail.
 




Esperion has been interviewing for months and with recent PCSK9 layoffs at end of the year, game plans changed at the hiring event. Very evident, very awkward, very unprofessional behavior, inconsistent messaging but you would have to be blind to not notice what was going on. So much for values and respect for people.

Exactly. Their whole mantra has been about being professional, taking care of people etc but now with the influx of praluent people, the reps who were being recruited hard for a couple of months have been pushed to the curb. Wouldn’t be ironic if the drug wasn’t approved? I think that sort of thing is called karma.
