Are they hiring single rep territories and hoping to double salesforce in the next year or so? I agree with last comment, there is no way medicare patients are paying high copays for a minimal reduction.

SO TRUE LOL , WHAT A BUNCH OF ELITIST MORONS. DISCONNECTED IDIOTS TYPICAL OF THESE COMPANIES WHERE MANAGEMENT IS A BUNCH OF RICH ELISITIS DICONNECTED IDIOTS. I

I take it you didn’t receive a call for a F2F. I’m sorry. There are plenty of other start up companies that will be hiring. Keep applying.

How were the Philly interviews? I go later this week. Is it just a cattle call or are the interviews for real. STAR format or not? Any timeframe on when offers would go out?

A little unorganized, they had many candidates wait an hour or more from their assigned interview time because they were “running behind”. 1 hour interview with potential hiring manager and 1 other manager. Then wait and see if you’re called back that evening for an interview with Regional sales director and others while you’re there in Philly. I found them pretty full of themselves (this is an opportunity of a lifetime!!) especially when they said they don’t anticipate any managed care coverage issues. Interview Hotel was run down and gross.

You hit the nail on the head with the Philly interviews. That’s exactly what it was like, nice people (some full of themselves not all), very unorganized, drugs not approved yet but think there will be no challenges, and hotel rooms were dumps... Waiting around for hours in between interviews, and it became a cattle call. If you are a recent laid off rep more likely to get the job as well. Then they won’t have to pay you as high.

I was disgusted by the hotel and the cattle call. Says a lot about the company. How can they hire in a place like this? And so full of themselves.

I waited an hour for my interview. It actually went well. I was called around 6pm and told I would get a call at 8am to interview again. Syneos lady called at 8am and told me there were 5 more candidates for the 2 positions in my area who weren’t at this event so I should go home. I was still in the running but would get a phone call next week... I wished they had told me that the night before so I didn’t have to try and sleep in that run down hotel. My hiring manager was great but his counterpart was full of herself. Did anyone get on the spot offers?

I thought the hotel was perfectly fine. Sounds like a little bit of entitlement if you ask me. We really have no idea how lucky and good we have it in pharmaceutical sales. Take time to reflect on that.

It was a cattle call. I was not impressed with the company. In my opinion you want to impress candidates with being professional and set a nice appearance. The hotel was just OK. Old and not what I would say modern. The people I interviewed with were big pharma rejects and not at all salespeople. I did get a call back and most likely stay at my current job. I don’t see this as a step in the right direction of me. If you don’t have a current job then yes take the offer. If you are currently employed, seriously think twice about making a move as you very well may find yourself unemployed in 2 years.

No we are not entitled, but if you want to hire the so called best of the best as a start up company you get it together have this process at a much nicer hotel where the rooms are not smelling of mildew, spend money to make money, and more importantly don’t leave your candidates waiting around 6 hours in between interviews and some longer. First impressions last forever you only get one shot at that. If you had a good experience great, but many did not so respect that and move on. Don’t get your panties in a bunch over someone else’s view.

Cattle calls are also the worst way to treat potential employees in my opinion.

Says the person sipping the cool aid..If only 2-3 people to the final there is no way people should have had to wait hours for their second interview. Very unorganized, and yes when you have reps all over the hotel waiting to hear , and managers falling behind on interviews that is a cattle call...

uh, they are staffing an entire company in 3 to 4 weeks. It’s a pretty daunting task, especially when you consider how many entitled b.s. artists are in our industry. The comments about the hotel really say it all. It was a Hilton at an airport. It was clean, the rooms were nice, the restaurant was fine. Ritz Carlton’s are for award trips not interviews. The people I met were enthusiastic for sure. I would be quite concerned if, at this stage, they weren’t. If you weren’t impressed with them, I’m quite certain it was because they weren’t impressed with you. If you’re interviewing in the next couple weeks, don’t read this crap. Go in with an open mind and feel it out for yourself.

I went with another company and I was a concerned I had made a mistake. BUT AFTER READING THE COMMENTS about the cattle call, I AM GLAD I CHOSE THE OTHER COMPANY . they treated me well and not like a number like it is written about here. I made a good decision not picking this crap. good luck.

the manager I spoke to on the phone was so full of himself I could not go to philli.

I absolutely agree with you. I thought the hotel was adequate enough. I was thrilled that it was near the airport and could catch a flight easily home. All of the managers and higher ups that I interviewed with were great people. They were enthusiastic and really made me feel excited about the opportunity. There is nothing wrong with that.
