Not really. Ive hired an all-star team with lots of PC experience and award winners. We are going to show everyone how this drug kicks ass! There are many patients who only need < 30% reduction, and this is the drug to go to in that case. We are going to crush it, I promise.

Sounds like your into the CBD oil a little early in the evening Charles Charles. All-Star?? I won't deny you might have 20% of your team as competent but the drug blows. Reduction are a joke and comparable to generic. Not one cardiologist thinks Zetia is stellar reduction maker. Keep dreaming as your going to need the hand of God to move this drug. Good luck with the PC docs also. There an inspiring bunch and most are still using leaches to clear up infections. BA will be a blip in 9 months.

I find this response quite foolish; most PCPs are not using leech therapy as it usually provides a prior authorization. Similarly, a novel new compound that delivers a powerful 18% reduction in ldl, has no outcomes data, and no tag along with similar moa that does have outcomes, and that will no doubt carry a hefty price tag in a market that is quite satisfied with generics will certainly prove to be the pharma equivalent to Custer’s Last Stand.

Look up a drug called Livalo doctors will Rx that before they even think of bempedonic acid
 




This drug will be a fart in a heavy breeze. No outcomes, below average reductions. Can you really see your cardiologists jumping up from the lunch table and immediately start writing ? And PC docs? Please they move at a snail pace even when aspirin came along . This drug will be an epic failure especially with this management team. The regionals ( DM's) which is another red flag when they can't label themselves correctly are a worn out bunch with track records of mediocrity.

No. We are going to kick ass all over Livalo. And PCSK9. Pricing will be phenomenal. Outcomes are coming in 2 years but MD's excited about lack or side effects. They call us the lipid company for a reason. This will be a launch to be remembered in cholesterol history. Not like Lipitor, but not far off. Many patients need only small reductions, not the huge ones associated with the PCSK9's. This will be very good.

Ray, MD, MPhil, Imperial College London, suggest the latter may be related to renal-transporter competition between the bempedoic acid glucuronide metabolite and uric acid.

Wow. I can't believe I didn't post any of these remarks until now. All of this shit happened to me. TW in Florida used me to fill in a Esperion Speaker Bureau sheet for the entire North Florida district. He sought my opinion for referrals. He asked me to help recut and index a territory. He asked about Cardiology group boundaries. Then I was told my resume was what good looks like in the interview and offered a extra copy - they only spoke with 700 people by this point. And then I was passed over. The territory remains empty.

I can post this knowing I have never posted on CP before. But all of the post is true. Yes. I am convinced I was played to the fullest. While others got to dine with the top brass the night before their interview. No relationships, no recent sales, but landed a top dollar offer.

It's always who you know. Good job playing me for the fool.
It doesn't happen to me often.

Same thing essentially happened to me but didn’t put 2 and 2 together until recently. I feel played too (unfortunately the player wasn’t too hot or any good...LOL) but I’ll know better next time when dm’s Start asking fked up questions like rankings and end of year review reports examples of certain doctors etc etc etc NOPE. Never again.
 








TW in Florida was a used car salesman. His work history is weak and not impressive. It was all about gathering information so he could impress the people above him as he knew nothing about the lipid market in Florida. I totally had the vibe this was a complete information gathering session and the mass interview was like a cult. Managers mingling , pretending to be reps, all for show. This will be an HR nightmare moving forward and yes I needed the job and brought vast knowledge to the table. Good luck to those that got the job. I for sure learned a lesson here in integrity and honesty. This won't happen to me again. Hopefully those that got this coveted job will be able to move the needle as this company's future is riding on this.
