Entresto Contract

You're wrong. This would not be the first contract to be "rolled in" to a client company. Every contract does not promise this, as you say.

Time will tell. Maybe it won't end up happening....but Novartis has most definitely stated they intent to do so IF the contract proves to be fruitful. We'll see

Good luck with that.

Yes, January, actually after we get the bonus if there is even one. Turn over is already high on this contract and a lot of us are just buying time to see if PDI will right a lot of these injustices w/ a decent bonus. We decided to go through training and see if anything got better, it didn't so instead of resigning in Nov or Dec we figured might as well stick around until bonus time which is January. As far as the complaining considerate it a heads up warning to anyone that might be interviewing to take over a vacant territory.
Novartis takes 4 months to pay out bonus. You won't get it until April. As least that's what the payout schedule has been in the past.

Not what I heard. I heard they are filling all vacancies. High turn over rate for this contract. I heard they are not even interviewing people because of so many openings and just asking other reps who they know wants a job. Horrible situation people just putting time in, collecting checks and looking for a new company.

Don't even start with Cedric The Entertainer. He spent our entire training class flirting with any attractive girl that he could get to stop and talk to him. Totally unprofessional. I guess that is how they do it at PDI!

Heard we lost quite a few people this week. There is hope out there for the rest of us. It's a shame, Publicis use to be the place to work. Now because of PDI, Ashfield is the place to be. The positive is that Ashfield is happy with the talent that they are getting from this contract, so we all have hope!

People are leaving not only for the Ashfield contract but also just jumping ship w/o another job lined up..that's how people feel about NVS and this contract at this point. And, the resigning is just getting started...

Yes, but very few people want to be rolled at this point. Some are saying they would consider it if NVS would offer 90/100K to at least make it worth being treated so badly on a regular basis.

Why not do it even if the salary increases only to $75k? We're already doing the same work for less money.
Take the pay increase and continue to interview for something else. At least you'll get the week between Christmas and New Year's off.

No thanks.. That just gets us back to break even from the AZ contract since we lost the car allowance. Besides most of us have at least 10 years experience and it's totally insulting that we take a pay cut to entry level pharma. Look at it this way, NVS walks into a car dealership and wants to buy a car. There are 4 cars on the show room floor. Base model, one w some upgrades, One w/ more horse power and one w/ all the bells and whistles and HP. NVS only has money Base model though... does the dealership even consider selling the NVS the two top of the line models? NO, you get what you pay for and the dealership knows their product and demands more money or let's the customer walk. You keep selling yourself short..and you will take the next cheap offer that comes your way again...We didn't know that this contract was going to be a total sell-out. But it's time to recognize your value. Hell, If you remember correctly, PDI would even tell us what the name of the company was until we said yes...You think that was because of them not having the paper worked signed yet now? No, this was a CON job...and we got sold a bag of goods.

Good post, we haven't even got a bonus yet! 6 months in!! and looking like we may not get one until March or April.

How many of you would have said YES to this contract if you would have known that we were going to go through initial training again, Break Away selling BS, being away 10 day over a weekend, doing all these dinner programs, dealing w/ micro managers. We put trust in our employer and they let us down. I think if you are brand new to Pharm this is a great introduction though. But most of us just wanted make calls to our MDs and move some marketshare and be left alone like we were w/ AZ. Never going to sign up for a contract that you have to report directly to Manufacture DM again either might as well just work for Manufacure then. NO MORE FREE TEST DRIVES! Where the driver abuses the car then discards it.
