Electric Vehicle

Companies get tax credits. Duh. Enjoy Tesla. Stop complaining. Get over it. God you guys are babies.

Coming from what I assume is an ass sniffing butt kisser who hasn't had to deal the silliness that is an EV, especially in large geo's and/or cold climates. And Joris, keep your pseudo-science BS to your minions. God knows, there is enough of them.

Want to know the best way to emotionally manipulate someone? Convince them that they are destroying the planet.

They're doubling down since they tried convincing people they were "endangering others" simply by breathing.

I have the VW ID4. It's garbage. Don't be fooled by the mileage advertised. If you live in either a warm or cold environment, both severely impact the car's range . I've had to drive in the summer with my windows down and in the winter with only my seat warmer for comfort. Having said that, I'm grateful to not have to pay for this POS.

I asked a friend of mine who owns a bunch of gas stations why he doesnt just put a row of superchargers in next to his pumps. He explained that in the US its actually illegal to have fuel stations dispense electricity at a high volume in additional to providing petroleum. He can legally only have 1 level 2 charger per station.

That's why all the level 3 chargers are sparsly arranged at places where invidual permits are allowed to tap into the grid.

If they really wanted EV's to be part of normal transport, so people could plan accordingly and charge up fast at gas stations, they'd change this law immediately to allow public utilities like electricity to be dispensed side by side with petroleum in an efficient, timely process.

The reason it's so inconvenient is that they WANT it to be inconvenient!!!

Just got it Friday. Tried to make it to an appointment 3 hrs away and couldn't. Had to call the customer and tell them lunch would make it but I wouldn't. Took me forever to get enough charge to make it back hone by dinner. Does anyone realize what we are doing. Oh well, sat in the car on email all day, had lunch, almost took a siesta.

Enough already! Don’t worry AI will replace the whiny sales force.

Almost took a siesta? Oh man, embrace those. They will soon be part of your daily life. Just make sure to lock the doors. And keep it quiet but stash a firearm....just in case.

And the company may know but doesn't care. All about virtue signaling.

You're a dick! Try doing the right thing and working a full day, getting up early to make it to a customer, working all day then when you try to go home having to sit on the side of the road attempting to charge you car which could take a few hours if you can find a charger and you are in bad locations. Whining, bring your ass out here and lets see who is whining.

All about feelings and virtual signaling
Pascal forcing all of this down the companies throats with no contigencies even for areas of the country and world where these things are not feasible is going to end up destroying productivity and morale. All of this at a time manuacturers and much of business and industry are starting to acknowledge EV's glaring defiencies as every day vehicles let alone as fleet automobiles.

This fleet overhaul will also cost the country a small fortune when 1-2 years fron now they have to reverse course due to the inevitable logistical, productivity, and safety issues it creates. These legitmate concerns have been voiced at just about every level for over a year now but have fallen on the tone deaf ears of this companies leadership.

I just hope those at the top who decided to ignore all of the concerns and problems this decision will create are held accountable when all the inevitable productivity and safety issues emerge.
