Actually China produces less than half the C02 per capita than the US. So if China had the same number of people as the US they would produce less than half as much C02 as we do. Also China added 50% of the world's renewable energy capability in 2023.

That's because half of China's population lives in poverty, to the extent that they do not even rate as excipients of modern industry usage. Your darling of a country doesn't even have basic human rights for its citizens. Sort of like AZ not caring if peoples houses burn down, as long as they meet some EV metric.
