Electric Vehicle

Q: How many climate change deniers does it take to change a lightbulb? A: What are you talking about, the bulb is fine.
We don't deny that it exists.

We simply don't believe forcing people to drive electric cars is going to do shit about it.

Especially since you literally have to wreck the earth to make the battery, to the extent that they aren't "carbon neutral" until seven years elapses after driving one

The average rep drives enough to need a battery replacement far more often than every seven years.

You see, we always knew you couldn't think critically, but we at least thought you could count.

2 things:
Does anyone really care what the true cost is: to own, operate, replace batteries, replace when in accidents. Of course not, it is all about the optics and what they put out in the world. Not to mention-what if you live in an apartment or rent your living space- how is that going to work with charging your car. I will be finished by 3:30 -4 just to make sure my car is charge for the morning. Since charging is now part of my work description.
Would love to see what every C-suite executive is driving in every country-bet it isnt a small electric clown car

I drive rentals more than the electric car

There's the optics

Research shows that 3.6 billion people already live in areas highly susceptible to climate change. Between 2030 and 2050, climate change is expected to cause approximately 250 000 additional deaths per year, from malnutrition, malaria, diarrhea and heat stress alone. We must cut our carbon footprint NOW!!! Love & Peace to mother earth!!!

The top 1% account for 30% of the "carbon output"

AZ folks let's convert our gas-fueled furnaces and boilers with geothermal. Invest NOW in our children's future. By 2050, deployment of carbon-free geothermal energy can help address the climate change crisis by offsetting more than 500 million metric tons (MMT) of greenhouse gases in the electric sector and more than 1,250 MMT in the heating and cooling sector—combining for the equivalent of replacing 26 million cars on the road every year (U.S. DOE 2023).

Not till they start turning in the jets and yachts. Until then, it's all bullshit.

NEW - Hertz to sell 20,000 EVs in a shift back to gas-powered cars due to weak demand and high repair costs — Bloomberg

Get a clue Pascal, just because this is your agenda and your life isn’t going to be affected and somehow the board allows you to live in Australia 6 months out of the year doesn’t mean the backbone of the company (field sales) should have to suffer.
