Electric Vehicle

In cold weather efficiency is further reduced when completing short drives. It takes the car 10 minutes to warm up and achieve efficiency.. by the time that happens you are already to the next office. 120-150 miles max when completing <30 minute drives in freezing temps. What moron picked these things for a field based sales force

Gonna be the biggest hit to our productivity that any sales force has had to contend with, nothing nimble, flexible, reliable or suitable about these things..I say follow the money…I bet a loss of productivity by the sales force is already baked into the equation_

I just checked email about the upcoming Pcx meetings. I'm guessing no one took the time to read the email all the way through. Did any of you see the directives to the SE area reps that are driving to Orlando. If you own a EV, you have to rent a car to drive to the meeting. There aren't enough chargers in the area to support the number of vehicles. Isn't this a great sign that it's too early for company wide EV vehicles. This is a complete joke. How much will this cost the company?

1-2 lunches. This company actually fooled a lot of you into thinking expenses and sales numbers matter. They don’t, the cost of your sales force was justified a long time ago. But they did a good job convincing you to be mindful of the numbers

The Bolt EV offers realtime GPS tracking across the fleet including "drive time"; "charging frequency" and a variety of other metrics that will be used to determine office visit reach & frequency. So dont worry about the shortage of chargers - the dead wood will be "discharged"

Question: Rep vacant sales territories perform as well or better than rep territories. Why?

Wouldn't be a bit surprised. And there you have one of the top three reasons as to why AZ moved so quickly w/technology that is still in its infancy.

And very easy to disable. You just put a tin foil hat on it

I still can't believe that I have to rent a car to go to this darn meeting. Avoid a EV vehicle at all cost if you can. They are awful. I've been in the industry for 20+ years and it's the worst vehicle I have ever had.

Does anyone not realize our days are spent trying to locate and charge cars not see customers or at least try. So, daily calls will be down and we can't change that.

exactly!!! Pure stupidity. If they want everyone to have electric vehicles at least give something different that holds a charge. So the focus of trying to interact with customers has now shifted to charging your vehicle… super bright move LT!! But hey the Bolt is a great EV right?!

I’m not crazy about electric vehicle, in fact it’s a logistical nightmare. However, this isn’t a very sales oriented company. They just gave you 10 more reasons to fuck off for 1-2 hours a day. It’s 2-3 less calls I have to log. Plus, the VW is a much nicer vehicle than the rav. Smoother ride, nicer seats, more features, massaging seats, quieter cabin. It’ll all be fine

When did they switch to a VW? Is the bolt gone. Which VW did they choose?
