Electric cars don't mean the end of driving fun. While it's entirely possible to enjoy the laid-back, relaxing driving experience, you can also prod the accelerator and enjoy the instant power delivery of electric motors, made famous by numerous YouTube 'reaction clips' of drivers shocking their passengers with sudden acceleration. I personally own an EV and can't wait to have one for my sales car. EV is the future so let's embrace the decision. Our children will thank us for saving their future.

Stop with the BS narrative. On a national level, EV's are not ready for primetime...by a longshot.

‘When EV batteries starting hitting the landfills, you will see the beginning of an environmental disaster. Also, when you spend several hours a day charging, you will want to dump your EV as fast as you can. If you have a small geography, the problem of charging won’t be as bad. But if you have a primarily rural territory, it will be a nightmare. Also, the miles per charge has been inflated and continues to decrease overtime. My neighbor has a Tesla, and he has grown to despise it.

fantastic. But the majority of our electricity is still created from fossil fuels… sooo…..this is kinda awkward. I’m sure they’re mining all the lithium in a very environmentally friendly way though!

LOL... yet Pascal continues to brag about how much AZ sells in China despite coal plants everywhere the fact it is doing zero to curb carbon emissions. China has 1.5 billion people and are indisputadely the gross polluters of the world.

AZ going all EV's won't make a dent in any of this but at least Pascal will have warm fuzzies about how much he is doing to save the world one EV at a time. The important thing is he and AZ continue to profit and sell billions to the country doing nothing to help the situation while incarcerating millions in modern day concenteation camps. It found that people living within 500 feet of an oil and gas facility have a lifetime excess cancer risk eight times higher than the upper limit set by the Environmental Protection Agency! Fossil fuels are toxic to human life. We should all support renewable energy sources and save our children. The science is irrefutable.

Was -5 here this week. What was supposed to be a 4 hour trip (inclusive of 1-30 minute charge) turned out to be a 9 hour trip having to stop for 3 charges. These EVs are not practical for cold climates.. the ranges cut in half. God forbid you have to charge your phone or iPad while driving.

I call Fake News on this post! Cold weather does not impact the performance of EVs! In addition, fossil fuel champions should recognize it’s estimated we have less than 100 years of coal generation left, 50 years of natural gas, and 50 years of crude oil. That means this is a basic problem for us, our children, and our grandchildren. That’s why we all need to embrace clean energy NOW!! AZ is a leader in helping reduce fossil fuel related health toxicities and climate change catastrophes. Get on board the clean, sustainable energy wave.

Do some research around heat waves, weather, etc..... Go back centuries to see the ups and downs. Lancet is trying to create a narrative just like Fauci did with Covid. Mind you, he made tens of millions.

YUP! This woke "look at me" shit is a disaster in waiting. Until they have charging stations to rival gas stations and the charge time is 5 minutes vs. 30+ and the range is that of a hybrid vehicle, just admit the decision was a little too aggressive. Maybe by 2030? I have my doubts that it will even be ready for primetime by then.

Wait to we see what happens once AZ reps start getting into accidents with these electric go karts. Completely unsafe. I can't imagine getting into an accident at speeds over 35mph. Does Pascal get driven around in a Chevy Bolt or a EV of any sort. I would guess not.
