Electric Vehicle

I will just work from home instead of using the car for my long routes. That’s was they want anyway- more virtual interactions. Hopeful for a restructuring so I won’t have to deal with the stupid car!

The vast majority of the sales force would love to drive the Bolt as our work vehicle."he 2022 Chevy Bolt EV not only looks more exciting inside and out, the redesigned electric hatchback also has enhanced features. While the most noticeable changes are its futuristic sheet metal and freshly refinished cabin, it still employs a front-drive-only powertrain that delivers near-instant acceleration."

Sounds like a sweet car. Looking forward to driving it.

If AZ thinks they are going to save money and save the planet with these electric vehicles, they have another thing coming. They will decrease productivity by the charging times or people fearful to drive to accounts too far from their homes. People will have food delivered because there is no room for the food in the cars. Less promotional materials will be handed out because there is no room. Things will be mailed via e-store costing the company more money and cutting down trees to create the cardboard boxes.

Well, we just got new long range Model 3 Tesla’s here at Novartis. Changes nothing with productivity, and there are tons of supercharging stations to go to. Takes about 20 mins to charge and you’ve got 300 miles in charge. We had Charge Point chargers installed by the company at our houses as well to charge overnight. Raises your home value and you get to expense the energy bill increase. All in all everyone here likes it.

That's a Tesla, not a bolt. I think the biggest complaint is the size of the vehicle. It is TINY and unsafe. One accident and kiss your ass good bye.

'Which Uses More Electricity...A Refrigerator When It's Running Or Electric Car When It's Charging?' - YouTube

I love how Sec. Buttigieg clearly states that the infrastructure can't handle what the goals are. Personally, my electric bill more than doubled this summer based on what it was last summer due to energy costs. Literally went up $300 in one month.

"Infrastructure" means a vast increase in energy costs passed on to the consumer. The representative called it a fantasy. He is right. The amount of energy and pollution it takes to get the minerals out of the ground will pale in comparison to what is supposedly being saved by using electric vehicles especially when you consider how the electricity needed to charge these vehicles will HAVE TO BE obtained. #fossilfuel

I wish leaders would stop being so woke that they lose all common sense.

Just in case my post doesn't clear the 1st amendment violators, here is the abbreviated version.

A battery in an electric car, let's say an average Tesla, is made of 25 pounds of lithium, 60 pounds of nickel, 44 pounds of manganese, 30 pounds of cobalt, 200 pounds of copper, and 400 pounds of aluminum , steel, and plastic, etc...... averaging 750-1,000 pounds of minerals that had to be mined and processed into a battery that merely stores electricity..... Electricity which is generated by oil, gas, coal, nuclear, or water (and a tiny fraction of wind and solar)...There's a lot about " Green Energy" that is not being told.

There is a great deal of truth in this post.
