It is. We (CN) tried to derail them with the classification issue, however, CMS did rule that it is indeed an MCOT device. They got into one of my accounts and they were able to produce all the data they claimed, even the stored data. I was able to get them out with providing better service. MedNet sends their reps from NJ, therefore, they are not able to see the accounts very often.

One way they hook the accounts is through the sale of their sister company's pacer boxes and the sale of holter systems. That is why they target the larger accounts.
 












anyone come across a company called Corventis? I am in CA and had them mentioned in a few accounts. found on web and looks like could be a real player if their device is what it says it is.

highly doubtful they are broke/unstable as they are a start up which recently launched and have funding. If you did any research you would see they are quite the opposite and have a pipeline of products which will seperate them from the pack. You must be another MCOT vendor who is scared to face the truth that mcot is all you have to offer. Can't wait till CMS cuts the reimbursement again when review comes around again...those with only mcot will be in big trouble.

Name one company that only has MCOT.
 


































































Looked at Corventis website and their new MCOT. Didn't see any differences at all. Might be tough for them to differentiate from Cardionet & Lifewatch. Anybody know of any perceived advantages regarding Corventis?
