Dynasplint, Dynasplint, Dynasplint

With regard to the Medicare suit : As a former PAR at Dynasplint, it takes some time to learn the ins and outs of insurance billing in general, and Medicare has it's own rules that are another, more specific set to learn. By the time I understood enough to question how Dynasplint was billing for patients located in SNF's, I was told repeatedly that this was a process that was well settled and DSI's policies were within the rules allowed by Medicare, and that Dynasplint knew what it was doing and the Compliance Department was on top of what the rules were and how Dynasplint complied with those rules. It took time to "get" that this was NOT the case, that how this billing was happening was against Medicare policy and the Compliance Department was well aware that the billing was not following the MC rules ( hence the exit of the compliance manager). It seems reasonable that if Dynasplint bypassed Medicare's rules it would for other insurance companies as well. Humana patients were fit, told their unit would be covered when Humana plainly stated they would not cover Dynasplints.

Rules were broken for the sake of making money. It all comes back to money. And yes, people stayed and did their jobs, knowing rules were being broken, for the sake of their own paycheck. Not pretty, but true. GH believed he was on a moral "high road" with regard to Medicare, and stated " this is how we get policy changed". Looks like that is not turning out to be the case and all the money that came in the door as a result of that improper billing is did no good in the end.

GH took the moral high road and the suit will be dismissed.
The good Lord is looking out for him because he is a good person.
God Bless all of you for your support.

WOW!!! you really cannot read can you? This former PAR is by no means supporting GH. Maybe I can just highlight the last part of what this PAR said.

Where are you reading the support for GH in this? Please see an eye doctor and have your bifocals checked because you obviously cannot see.

I am the former PAR who wrote the post you are referring to and quoting and you are correct : this is NOT intended to be supportive of GH. There were many points where he had the opportunity to really take a high road ( or make things " the way they ought to be" ) and he did not take any of those opportunities. One can view it as doing what he thought was needed to keep business going and keep people's jobs; it can also be viewed as greed and corporate corruption. My own point of view is that the evidence weighs more heavily toward greed flavored with arrogance.
At the same time, I have utter and complete empathy for those of us who were the worker bees, knowing that things were not being done the way they should be, but needing a paycheck and health insurance for families. I stayed a lot longer than I wanted to for just those reasons.
It may be hypocritical but I think there is a difference between keeping a roof over your head and food on the family table from paycheck to paycheck and trying to trust the company you work for , and keeping your million dollar homes and affluent lifestyle when you are fully aware that you are not following the rules you agreed to follow.
So, no : that is not in support of GH. Dynasplint is a bad company with bad policies in many, many areas and while I hate what happened for the good and hardworking employees, I have no sympathy AT ALL for GH.

Very well said! As a former employee myself, I can attest to all of the above. My understanding is that not much has changed. GH is still robbing Peter to pay Paul. His weekly meetings have dwindled, sounds like he's out of excuses and kool-aid. Most of the high producing sales consultants that were left after the layoff have since moved on. He still owes thousands to past employees. And, lets not forget the impending lawsuits that are still out there. Don't believe everything that the little crackpot is posting on here. I don't believe they even work for the company and are solely here for the show.

So, let me get this straight.
Employees knowingly violated the Medicare law and then, they have the audacity to demand back wages? Who's the hypocrite now asswipes? Yeah, let's put all the blame on the CEO. You people ARE greedy and stupid.

Bitch Please!!!! get the hell off of your pedestal, you are a condescending skank.

And if I see this biatch on this website one more time defending GH and DSI and telling you all about how it is a right not to pay you, as crazy as this sounds, I'll name names to the right ppl

(and if there is someone who could make my life easier and give me the right number to call, I'd appreciate it).

The original lawsuit was submit in LA, I am sure that somewhere in the M.D. claim that the attorney is listed.

Is that the name and number you are looking for? I will certainly take the time to look it up for you. Otherwise, I think you can contact the Center for Medicare Services to report your own case.

We'll see. I am a former rep. (way back) I'm currently with another company. I just heard what happened to you guys and got on this website. How horrible that you guys are going through this and then to have these people still defending this guy! Wow, that blew my mind! Two wrongs don't usually make a right, but in this case, we can make an exception. I am so sad for all of you who have gone through all this. I hope my information will be of value to someone.

Re-read the post. You really ARE an idiot.

You obviously don't know the meaning of culpability sweetie.
Go back and crawl under the rock whence you came from.
