I would suggest that each person contact a tax accountant in their own state since laws can differ from state to state. Your W-2 should match what your paystub shows as withheld and need to be mailed by Jan 31st and according to ADP they will be mailed to the address that they have on file. Yes I do know that there were numerous checks issued that do not have the itemized breakdown.

Yes you could be held responsible for taxes not paid to the State of MD..that much I can tell you according the State of MD Comptroller's office.

A class action lawsuit using the WARN Act will not pan out to anything (unfortunately) since GH was seeking alternate financing and BB & T initiated foreclosure proceedings GH was not required to give the notice.

But in all fairness, I will call this number on Monday and at least make an inquiry.

Honorable?

He laid off 70% of his workforce with no advanced notice and no severance pay. He laid these people off when for months prior he had been leaving voicemails and having face to face meetings with groups of employees to assure them that everything was ok.

Instead of laying that 70% off on August 6th an honorable man would have given the 70% a 2 week notice and said your last day will be August 20th to give people time to prepare. And then done what ever was necessary to provide severance pay to people who had been dedicated to his company for years. In some cases employees with 10-15 years of employment.

I'm fairly certain this quoted post above is meant to be sarcasm because it's so over the top but I just want to make sure there's no confusion that GH is not an honorable man. He is a liar.

Oh hunny please do not get me started!!! What GH has done to 500 people is absolutely criminal and at this point I would love to see him become someone's prison bitch!!!!

Please keep my name out of your spewing mouth. I do not agree and will not ever agree with you. If GH were such a "Christian" then he would have found a way to get those 500 people paid the funds they are owed. There is nothing "Christian" in his life right now..he is looking out for him and him alone and these other people are just SOL because of his greed.

HMMMM Richard L Sugarman appears to be an attorney..I wonder which of the commercial properties of GH's is he going after.

I have a small claims hearing on Thursday in Annapolis..wonder if they would let me see the public records.

I also got ahold of this Sam person (female) in NY. GH has until Feb 6th to recall the laid off employees. If he hasn't, then he would be in violation of the WARN Act and the lawsuit against him could be filed.

Hope this info helps. If they let me see the public records I will post what I am able to find out.

GH has done nothing for me, and don't you think you should ask GH if he has any shame?

His company still owes hundreds of people thousands of dollars for work they did for his company only to be lied to and cheated from. Not to mention NOT paying the taxes which these same people will be responsible for( also withheld from the employees). Not paying into the 401K (again also withheld from the employees) not to mention cancelling the health insurance and dental insurance ( yet again also withheld from the employees)

Karma is a bitch and he is only getting what is coming to him. When you lie, cheat and steal then bad things happen to you and this is just a way to stand up for the employees that he defrauded!!!
