Has anyone gotten an update from George/HR (or what is left of it) about the money that is owed to those laid off? Rhonda-what about the Department of Labor? I would love to know when I can expect the $5,000 that is owed to me. Anyone still employed there have any updates from George?

This shows how few facts there are on Cafe Pharma. Anyone still employed knows that george already admitted he will no longer be able to fund a corporate christmas party or corporate christmas bonuses. Instead, he is giving us the 26th off (with pay).

The last I heard from the Dept of Labor, GH was unwilling to cooperate with them and the case against DSI was being referred out. I do not know who it is being referred to though and I still haven't gotten the letter that I was told I would get.

As soon as I receive any letter I will write out what it says. I don't think there is a way to add an attachment into this website.

Honestly, I had started looking back in May after I graduated. If they didn't lay me off, I would have quit on my own once I found the job with the state.

I am still fighting for those that haven't been paid everything owed to them because I think this whole situation is so wrong for everyone!!

It amazes me how someone can be so greedy and not do the right thing. It's criminal that all the peopled laid off and owed money have not been paid. Some may even be homeless now. Let's pray that everyone laid off has a better 2014.

I believe that what goes around, comes around and the other shoe will fall once the Feds prosecute for Medicare fraud. Call it karma.

I heard that Hanger is buying the remaining inventory form Dynasplint and acquiring the business in full on December 31st but will be closing it down the first of the year. The Dynasplint product will become part of the Hanger portfolio sold by their current reps beginning in March 2014. Does anyone have any information on this or the validity of it? I can't give the name where I heard it but they are pretty high up in the Hanger organization.

Lawsuit still going strong and DS still cannot process Medicare claims. So if its 35% of the overall business how can they stay alive after that big of a cut?
None of the empty promises that GH made came true. No one has been called back except to fill positions where people left. Bank loans still due and legal proceedings still active.
No end in sight for DS....they should avoid all of the damage being done these past months and just file for bankruptcy and get it over with.

Back wages and expenses have been paid
Dental coverage is restored
Everyone got a Christmas bonus
People WERE called back in November
The annual Christmas party was the best ever
The Medicare lawsuit was dropped
And, there really is a Santy Claus!
