Didn't the taxpayers provide back pay to all the federal workers who were laid off for three weeks during the federal government shutdown?

GH can step up to the plate and consider it a recruiting and loyalty bonus.
I'd take 4-5 months back pay in a heartbeat.
And I'd quit after the first day back at work.

Welfare is for lazy bums. Unemployment is for hard working individuals who were screwed by a corrupt company who CHOSE not to pay their bills and over 500 people suffered because of it. These people were not fired and they used those benefits to put food on the table while they spent their time finding a job with a solid company. If these people really weren't working or doing an exceptional job then they wouldn't have been owed thousands in bonuses, which were based on performance!
