Insurance re-enrollment will be available again 1/01/2014. Everyone please be careful until then and just remember that this break in your insurance service will allow the company to get back on its feet thus allowing you to do the same. Thanks for understanding.

She didn't resign. She sent an email to some reps yesterday saying the rumors were false and she wasn't going anywhere.
No health insurance = filing personal bankruptcy when you get a six-figure medical bill you can't pay. Yeah, just stick it out until Jan 1 and hope you and your family stay well and don't have an accident. And you better hope your teeth don't fall out either.

I'm a cafepharma virgin but I have to chime in. I was part of the Aug. 6th layoff. First of all, I was NOT an "underachiever", "slacker" or whatever else you all call it. I was at DSI for almost 8 years and did my job and did it well. I was a telecommuter for the last 4 years and I can tell you that the "slackers" didn't telecommute. I am confident in saying that I was laid off because I was not part of the "clique" or Matt's favorites. If you weren't a favorite you were screwed come lay offs. I was devastated on Aug. 6th. DSI had been my security blanket for many years. I have taken the lay off as a blessing in disguise. I got a new job after 2 weeks...I'm in a completely different industry and I have learned so much. I've made new friends. Life goes on. The name calling and the rumors are so ridiculous. Weren't we all friends and co-workers at one time? I talked to a close friend last night who is still at Corporate and yes they did lose health insurance and no Bonnie and Kathy did not resign! In fact, Kathy sent an email yesterday saying that the rumors weren't true. I'll be the first to say that those people that are still there are saints! I honestly have no idea how they do it. If it were me, I would have checked out a long time ago butttt, that's probably why they are still there and I am not. I hope for their sake that DSI does pull through and they can dust themselves off and carry on. It doesn't do any of us any good to bash each other. If you are still there and you are miserable then spend your cafepharma/strike time to look for a new job. Wouldn't that be the more productive thing to do? My heart goes out to everyone who has not been able to find a job and is in a financial rut. I hope that this is made right and everyone gets what they are owed sooner rather than later. This has carried on far too long. I miss all of my DSI buddies and I wish all of you well!! --AH (I'm not scurred
