does anyone have any real info on the cti acquisition and how big the layoff will be?

Same sized group calling on same same offices, worst possible layoff scenario for both sales groups. It was so insulting when they all celebrated when so many will lose their jobs. Obviously a very deep cut is coming at all levels but it will depend on how many of the CTI people Sobi is obligated to retain.

Sobi will retain All the CTI people, not from obligation but to protect their investment. It’s all about the profit! They already know about thrombocytopenia, no need to train them!

We celebrate over the buyout cause we all made money dumbass. I know I can find another job. Will you have a six figure payout this year? You are a big pharma tool.

This BS CTI deal is just one more example of the Hematology group getting screwed, despite being the only profitable Sobi franchise in the US!

There may or may not be an obligation to keep CTI people. SOBI will dump any SOBI employee whom they they deem under performing or problematic. I know some of the CTI reps and managers - and they are typically well versed in Hem/Onc and successful. I say no one at SOBI safe.
 


















curious here. I am skeptical of the future and dont have much trust in in senior leadership BUT these summer hours are awesome, vacation is great and pay seems good too. I am on the fence of leaving. If i do its more a company with a pipeline and better long term growth future. What are others thoughts?

I'd only stay if you think you can afford to get laid off. Everyone here I know who can't take this risk is looking.

we are all hearing big layoffs coming soon in the hematology sales force and that they will finalize everything behind closed doors at the management meeting coming up so if anyone gets reliable info on size and timeline, please post here
 






Same here, its just a question of how big of a layoff and when. They usually do these before the end of the year for accounting and admin reasons but please share if you hear anything definitive.

Big CTI/Sobi management meeting going on this week. I'll try to find out if anything gets decided. Please post here if anyone gets any news.
