Dermatology Comp plan

I was thinking the same thing when I first heard about it. I'm thinking one year max then they'll start axing reps. Same crap when comapnies get greedy. I too don't see how there's even market share for this!! I'll stay where I'm at. Have fun with this while it lasts! Lol

it is gonna be paid per script for the launch quarter and most likely first 6 months, $2,500 per script.

Good luck on getting ANY script. This is not a disease state where Derms are inclined to use a biologic. PA's and NP's are the ones seeing atopic patients and trust me they won't spend a second on trying to get a biologic filled for an Atopic patient.

That's why it's called "sales" dick wagon. Go back to counting you tubes of ointment samples fuck nuts.

I'm staying put where I'm at but one poster who said something about "selling" is spot on. There are more atopics than psoriatics out there and eventually this market will be like that one. This is a shot to go first (effectively, like Enbrel) and create a market for drugs like this in this disease state. Many Derms/mid levels I know have lists of patients suitable and suffering.

Better read the Sanofi and Genzyme thread. And as many have said good luck in getting these meds paid for!! I know not one derm office in my territory who want the hassle of getting a biologic covered. It's a back and forth ongoing issue, appeals have to be submitted which takes forever to do. You're a fool to think you'll make any money of bonus/commission. And they want top biologic and Derm experience??! Shiiiiiittt they must be smoking that stuff. I'm in both spaces now now and I know for a fact you've got a steep mountain to climb. I can see both Sanofi and Regeneron giving false hopes and unattainable goals. Better hope your salary alone covers the bills. LOL! Good luck!!

Most of you all that replied to this thread, are a bunch of morons! And don't know Dermatology.
This drug will eventually, be a billion dollar drug. I had a derm md tell me yesterday he has 10 pts, that he would put it on asap. You dummies, don't know it's a Chronic disease......
And I have no dog in the fight, not looking for a job there!

Most people who are applying probably aren't even in the Derm space let alone sell or have sold in the atopic space. Every rep in my company basically knows about this biologic launching but from what I know not one of us are willing to leave where we are for this opportunity. Drug sounds good on paper and all buuuut (and that's a huge but) realistically Derms are not going to rush in line trying to get a biologic approved for their atopic patients. Biologics take time and it's a pain to get covered!! If you're in a shitty job go for it, but I don't know one rep in my company or any of my competitors in my territory would take the chance of jumping on this bandwagon. Add to that stress from upper management on hitting goals, I can see it already... this is a nightmare position to be in!!
