You're a complete MORON..do you get that? Wow, what a complete freak you are. You have no idea who has been selected and who hasn't. I'm an internal candidate and no one will know for a couple more weeks. You are a farce and a complete jerk. They WILL hire both internal and external candidates. The ONLY FACT here is that no one knows who will be hired. Now do us all a favor and take your "y'all" and piss off. You are one major asshole instigator and should be ashamed of yourself. I do believe in karma and all this negative energy will return back to you. You can take that to the bank.
 






Genentech wouldn't spend thousands and thousands of dollars towards recruiting if they weren't hiring both internal and external. It's absurd to think otherwise. Let's just see how this shakes up in the wash. No one can really comment till after May 23rd. Then open the flood gates to your comments. Common sense would dictate they will have an even mixture of strong external and internal candidates.

In all seriousness, I don't want to work here. I've never in my life seen such depressing vitriol from a board. All of the boards are negative, but this one takes the cake. Genentech truly must be a miserable bunch of arrogant and unhappy jerks.

I am glad I didn't get moved forward. No. I'm not bitter. I wouldn't have left my Company anyway. I don't want to start over at this point in my career. Plus, it will be a tough sell, tough training, lots of travel, etc.

Good luck to those who want it.

Hopefully the MS reps being recruited from outside will help the attitude of some of these rude and mean spirited, negative and haughty internal G reps.

If anyone is taking all or most of the diatribe on here for fact, then you're in the wrong industry. There is more BS on here like there is on ALL boards. It's a game to get people wigged out and lose their shit.

Well said, all will shake out in a few weeks. The latest Journ of Neur had a interesting narrative on the MS market, read it. It mentions Gene entering a crowded market and Neuros are tired of job hopping MS reps in this class. Access being limited and MD's not excited about our drug. They are also worried about patients becoming retahded on the drug.

Are you HR? Are you a manager concerned that some of your favs won't take the job? I don't think any nonsense from this board will negate the possibility of people joining this company. The posts on here are negative. They G reps seem just awful.

We are still a top biotech company, warts and all, so if you think,our reps are awful, go away and stop bitching about not getting a job here or pissing and moaning about changing your mind about an offer.
