Dear MS Management....







I know for fact that the Louisiana MGR had the names of those internal reps he was going to hire as soon as he decided to take the position. Which he also likes to brag that DNA would not stop lobbying for him to take the position. My best friend heard him say it. Many well experienced MS reps did not even get to interview with him. I guess I was lucky enough to have a phone interview with him......

That has nothing to do with anything fuckface. I've been in MS for over 6 yrs. you are nothing but an Ass who just leaves negative posts. Just go away you arrogant pice of shit. Frankly your not a nice guy who wishes I'll will on others and it will eventually haunt you.
 






Sounds like their interview process is unprofessional and lacking. The amount of time they make reps wait between interviews is unheard of. If you have another job offer what are you suppose to do when Genentech has you waiting weeks?!

Had my IV also, cannot comment on whether there are roommates or not as I drove in. One manager truly was out of line constantly hurling Trump analagies in with the ?'s. Am I interviewing for a political campaign or a rep job? Another bloated bloke must have drank 8 cups of coffee during my IV and was still asleep. If I am given an offer I am rejecting, what a waste of my time. I agree some of these posts are outright bs but my IV was horrible. I am unsure if the managers are simply unprepared or arrogant. God, when this disaster of a team is finally assembled I can only imagine the launch meeting. Drunks, ass grabbers, braggers and room swapping. You would think it was 1985 in pharma. Good lord.........

Somebody really has it in for GS. If you had a best friend that close to him, why were they not talking you up? Maybe they didn't want to vouch?
 






what people are failing to see is defining who the best candidate would be is all subject to who is hiring. Awards, tenure, email print outs of your previous manager praising you does not get you the job. Managers analyze your skill set in person and how you present yourself. I knew a rep with less than 2 yrs experience that we hired bc when they walked in the room they had this personality and passion that filled the room. That was 4yrs ago and that person is doing very well. Good managers pick top talent based on the conversation they have with you not just your brag book


No, we didn't get the opportunity to meet the hiring manager...they are cutting excellent reps. after 45 minutes on the phone. Didn't get to present brag book or the chance to connect with the manager. Many people got screwed over because of the way this process is being done. Strong DNA reps. should have gotten face to face.

Me too, the managers went easy on me and made me feel at home. One guy even said take off your coat, make yourself comfortable. Another one bought me drinks latet that night, so sweeet!

Because I do not live anywhere near his terrtory, but I suspect the same thing is going on in my area. I have never met the DM in the south, but I think what he is doing is pathetic.

I hope that GNE management is reading this thread and does something about it for future product launches. So many excellent internal and external reps. cut after phone interviews and average reps. being moved on.
 






How would you know who was the best qualified rep? Perhaps the average rep interviewed better than the most qualified rep. How would you even know who was best qualified if you didn't interview them yourself. You have no idea what each manager is looking for. It must go more beyond rankings and president club winners. This happens all the time, so the best thing to do is move on. It wasn't meant to be. I know it sucks but this is the nature of the game.

I agree with the earlier comment and not you pot-head. So go "chill" somewhere else dude. None of us took it that way. It's like the "I told you so..." Please, give everyone a break. This goes for both sides of this fucking argument. For the LAST TIME, Genentech will be selecting both internal and external candidates. This is a FACT. So for the idiotic comments of "seat filler," you have no fucking idea what you're talking about. Have you gotten a list of all the hires and know how many internal and external candidates were chosen? NO.
So do everyone a big favor by shutting your mouth at least until everyone is selected. Everyone acts like they are experts on here and know what the hell is going on etc., when no one knows shit. Reserve your comments AFTER and then you can open your trash mouth.

Trust me, you do not want to work here anyways. The janitors keep having to repair the mens bathroom stalls on the second floor. There are so many glory holes it lookslike swiss cheese.
