If there is one positive about this whole mess it is Ankita being rewarded with a position on the brand side. I guess that's how this will be handled, those responsible for the screw up will be moved to other roles in the company. Lucky for them! They'll have new toys to break.
It must be an admirable and promotable trait in BMS leadership to completely ruin workstreams and peoples' lives and still know how to slip away from all accountability and move to another role before ever having to answer for your mistakes. Did you attend today's meeting where everyone got bitched at for low satisfaction survey scores? We got some great advice to throw our frustrations in the garbage and get to work, we all need to be rowers to drive his boat where he directs it, but we can volunteer for more work by joining a committee for all the areas we're failing on the survey. Trust me, there is no one who wants to join the WCE team at all. That's where all the ass-kissers and head-nodders go to die (or be laid off). There is no innovation or omnichannel expertise that is welcome on WCE - they only want people who can follow orders, clean up messes from failed processes with inept vendors, and keep their mouths shut.

Exactly. The only reason BMS has this team is to write checks to McKin$ey.Their next project is planning the 2025 lay-off. Probably at least $25million in consulting fees.

That’s all of BMS, they don’t like innovation here unless it’s your managers idea. My own coworkers are out here sabotaging anything they can. Disgusting rats, I’ve worked at other companies and industries but never seen this level of malice and ineptitude.

There is no in-house expertise. BMS relies totally on Vendor driven thinking and solutions. The problem is BMS does not know how to evaluate what is offered, which leads to expectations that are not based in reality.

They have laid off all the in-house expertise. Now they outsource to people who don't know our business or pharma. And bms didn't know how to evaluate proposals or work from external partners so dumb decisions are being made left and right.

My team just discovered that Stacy Trent and her team were all let go 6 months ago. The saddest part is that it's almost September and nobody even noticed! Let's face it, Stacy is dumber than a box of whistles and couldn't find her way out of a wet paper bag. I was told that she literally drove her hapless team to extinction. Let's give Davide the credit for seeing through that and fixing the disaster she and her team left behind. #teamdavide

Preach! Totally agree, but don’t forget toxic, bully and absolutely clueless. I am amazed she could make it to her desk in the mornings without a map. Her struggles to deliver anything but excuses were hard to watch. Some people are just not meant to lead, as exhibited by her former boss Tara who was also an unmitigated disaster. Thank God leadership came to their senses and showed her the door before any more damage was done. The Omnichannel, IT and Media teams all had a countdown clock for Stacy, but in her own cowardly way just disappeared into her sad and pathetic abyss. #goodriddance

She continued to try to beat everyone to a bloody pulp around her instead of partnering and embracing change. I wasn't surprised that she was part of the layoff - I was surprised that she lasted as long as she did while providing no value and encouraging her team to go on countless vacations along with zero accountability. Well and now is the really fun part of the big WCE layoffs: the fallout. As more and more competent employees who were originally retained are starting to GTFO, the ones left standing are finally exposed as the incompetent "leaders" they've always been. Jerry, Priya, Samina, Edna, etc. Good luck dummies.

I think Ray underestimated the politics, backwards thinking, and outright malice, in the group he took on. He was blindsided by Mckinsey and Davide. He couldn't fight back. Prior to that Frank wanting to bring medical into commercial led to a bad hire on the content side, which led to more bad hires on the content side. Everything went into a downward spiral. It was the blind leading the blind. Now it's the blind and stupid leading the blind and stupid.
