CIBA VISION OPENINGS!!!

What is the email format? Thanks for sharing. I have a feeling they are going to say all positions are not filled on the call line.

I just called the candidate line and they said final decisions are still being made. THey also said they would call with an offer or possibly send an email telling me to call in and that they call in the evenings and both Saturday and Sunday. I had 3 IV's in NC on the 15th....

I iv'd in NC on the 14th (last Wednesday), and had 3 sessions that were so well, they asked if I could take a later flight home, as they wanted me to meet 2 more people. As a result, I had a total of 5 round of iv's and met my entire chain-of-command, including the VP of Sales, and they all seemed to have given me the thumbs up!

It's now a week later, and still no word. Sent a follow-up email to the hiring manager on Friday. Called the care-line yesterday, they said they are still making finally decisions, and my position is still open, and I should hear something by the end of this week.

Yet like everyone else, the anticipation is "killing" me! I jump for joy each time the phone rings, then sigh with disappointment that it's not them calling. Anyway, good luck to you all. And like you, I hope I land this job too!

Any news?

This was my post, and just to let everyone know, I just called the 'candidate care line' and confirmed that, my position has not been filled, and that final decisions are still being made.

I haven't read the entire thread, but what kind of salary range were they offering for these positions? I heard that is was quite a bit lower than NVS pharma, but the interest level here might mean that wasn't the case?

There seem to be a number of positions in which the hiring manager has not yet made a decision. Logistically, it would make the most sense to hire and train for the highest priority territories first. Hopefully everyone will get an answer very soon!

That would make the most sense. There is a May 3 start date, but there could be a staggered training schedule if they are really hiring over 100 new reps.

And, I would add, that as long as the 'candidate care line' folks are telling people that final decisions are still being made, then it stands to reason that they have NOT yet filled ALL the positions.

I would probably agree that if there's no answer by now that it is probably not good...I just called the line again and they said that that no decision has been made for my territory yet and that I was still in consideration..she said it usually take 2 weeks to get info to them from Ciba...I don't know if I buy that since I'm sure others from NC have been made offers..I had 3 IV's in NC on the 15th...Oh well, stranger things have happened..anybody else heard anything from the candidate care line any different, or any rejections or offers?

That would seem to make sense. There might be a priority on certain area of the country vs others. None of us knows what is really going on and that is the frustrating part of this. It could be any number of thing holding up the process and the candidate care people do this for several companies and I'm sure are istructed to tell us whatever pops up on their screen when we tell them our name. That being said, I do think that if a decision was made they would tell us. Good luck to everyone. Anything new with anybody?
