Whole thread on AZ about an ex novo leader, very entertaining btw. Al though got canned here, but proof that Novo has been spreading $hitty leaders in the industry.

Gilot was terrible here and it’s clear he didn’t improve when he went to Astra Zeneca. Our gain (Gilot getting canned from Novo) was their loss, clearly. If AZ leadership let’s this go, and by that I mean they don’t fire him, they’re tacitly agreeing with his “tactics”. Deplorable.

One of my relatives works at AZ, and apparently this is a known problem over there but nothing has been done about it. She says AZ reps aren’t surprised that he gets away with this because they always just say it’s not really a problem and that it’s probably just a couple of complainers. Talk about out of touch with reality.

Regardless, for this to continue as it has is a much worse reflection on the person ( or the couple of people) who are unable to let it go.

I disagree. I’ve worked at NNI and AZ, and I have insight into what he’s done over there. Let’s just say it’s demonstrative of all that’s wrong with pharma. If people here remember him for being the type of person who would put out the video telling people to be unethical, why wouldn’t they call that out? We need to clean up this industry. Getting rid of people like Gilot would be a great first step.
