It looks like there’s a video of someone who used to work here saying stuff about gaining access without regard for the reps. I think he’s gone now. There is a ridiculously long thread about this guy over at AZ. What’s the story on this video? Looks like a social media thing at AZ?
Does anyone remember why he was fired from NNI?It looks like there’s a video of someone who used to work here saying stuff about gaining access without regard for the reps. I think he’s gone now.

That’s pretty dumb. If you’re going to fire someone for being a dick, why pay them?Let’s use “fired” loosely. He was given a very large sum of money to go elsewhere. It wasn’t like you or me getting fired. But, he was a dick to most everyone, which is why they paid him to leave.

I think the better question is why would you pay someone who sucked that much at his job anything. If memory serves, he didn’t contribute anything here. His salary was too much compensation already. That’s pretty dumb. If you’re going to fire someone for being a dick, why pay them?

Ha! He led his teams to “cook the books”, delete accounts that had no possibility of switching from Lantus and adding accounts only when they switched to Levemir. He succeeded at manipulating the system. Yes, he was given a chunk of change to leave because he knew and was involved in a tremendous amount of shady happenings at very senior levels in very key positions.I’m not sure how accurate that is. He led a pretty successful hospital team for several years before we decided to get out of the hospital business. He was an asshole, sure, but that doesn’t mean he didn’t have some good years.
evidently he’s involved in another scandal with AZ. Looks like leopards don’t change their spots.Ha! People like that have tarnished our entire industry. I guess acting like a responsible adult would mean a few less $$$, so we opt to keep these losers around - sad.Ha! He was my VP a few years back. I remember thinking his “guidance” was less than ethical, but you know what it means if you say something, so…I guess I’m not surprised by this.People like that have tarnished our entire industry. This isn’t logical. He/she could’ve avoided saying something without following guidance. So, what? You engaged in unethical activity and now you want to blame someone else for it? Classy!

I’m not sure why you have to assume he/she did the wrong thing. We do, however, know the person he/she was talking about had a penchant for doing the wrong thing, and for those who remember, he was fired for shady direction to the field. We did not want to have to answer to the FDA for his direction, and it looks like he hasn’t changed much. He’s been gone a while, so it’s somewhat of a waste of time to discuss him, but it would be nice if Pharma could rid itself of this kind of person. I think that would likely be the first step to getting us back to a place where the entire world didn’t look at us like greedy bad guys.He/She didn’t answer the question posed. So, although you and I know what they “could’ve” done, I think we know what they actually did - broke some rules and blamed someone else for it.
