I think the more likely explanation is sometimes people who have things to hide find ways to get CP to remove posts.

Adding to previous comment - this thread is about a sales leader who was, and apparently still is, a shitty person. These people not only survive in industry, they actually thrive, and that says a lot about this industry. It’s encouraging to see some of this come to light. You have a a few people arguing that all CP is a forum for people to trash their leaders. But only a few leaders get called out on CP, and generally what gets posted here highlights significant issues.

These posts tend to evolve in a typical pattern. Something is brought up - might be true, might not. There is discussion about what was brought up, and if it goes on too long you start to see stupid or irrelevant comments from people who are either bored or immature. The comments divide posters into groups who start attacking each other and the original point is lost. This thread follows that pattern. All relevant info is earlier in the thread, and honestly, it’s probably not very relevant since the person being discussed was let go years ago. He wasn’t a great leader, and it looks like he’s proving that again, but there’s no need to get personal.
