Bioventus Turnover - Executive Leadership

Boy this thread is negative. I have known TC well for years - went on last President's Club trip with him and spoke with him last Friday. It was a pretty positive conversation and nothing bad was said about Bioventus and who he worked for. He is leaving on a positive note. At least that was my impression. It seemed he was really excited about his opportunity ahead.

He is a great guy and talented rep. He wouldn’t say anything negative. The problem is he/Dave R/2 west reps/CB east/KA Trainer/DS MSL all gone of late and more to come sadly. The turnover never gets better here.

agreed, great rep and person who left a bad situation, namely his DoS and KH. I wish him well. Shows how those who have sacrificed over many years to help grow this company are treated.

Diagnostics? Seems to be the likely market for a side gig these days. Nothing wrong with side gigs as long as your call points are varied.

tens units, pain creams ( still worth it but nothing like the old days), bracing, toxicology testing are a few to name if you're looking. look for items that will get the office paid and its a win/win and you will benefit on the stim or HA side.

I have no experience in diagnostics, outside of the msk stints we pulled w ge and esaote over the years. ( unless you are referring to something else?)

any other ideas?

It’s ashame this comp plan is so crappy.

Long time loyal reps are either leaving or picking up side gigs just to make ends meet.

BV is losing great reps because they don’t want to pay out.

I’m confident I will receive hate but been here for years, since AD days. I have high sales volume, perform a bit over plan, having great success with Durolane and make well over what I did as a SSR. The only people on my team that bit** about comp plan are those with low sales and expect a big commission check.

No doubt there are pockets of reps still making good money but the large majority are not. No comp plan is perfect but this one is one of the worst I’ve seen for tenured reps. There’s people out there making 1,000s less at quota then they would’ve last year at plan. You should never go backwards year over year if you’re at 100%.
Just like the when that say Durolane and G3 are a huge success, there’s maybe 30% of the sales force at quota for g3 and still 80-90 reps below quota ytd for Durolane. Just because corporate hits their number doesn’t necessarily mean it’s a success.

Spot on! That's why it's called Biohazard.
