Big Lou hits the panic button

Well, I guess if you were as successful as Lou, we could sit here and anonymously complain about your lack of connectedness and how you are driving us down the highway to hell. But alas, your just another schmcuck who thinks he knows more than he does, like the rest of us. Maybe you should go to Wharton, join Pfizer, run the marketing program for a billion dollar blockbuster, then you can come back and preach the pharma marketing gospel to Lou and the board.

Name one thing Lou has done in the last decade? Things have changed a lot since the last time he was in the industry. The industry has passed him by. I just wish managers like you would come up for air once in a while but you won't because you won't get blame for the results, the reps will. Love the Oz, not.

Hey I know one thing, he promised each manager who jumps on board with the Oz Prinicpals a new pair of knee pads each month.

So let me get this straight, you want the credit (and the bonus) if you succeed, but you want to point fingers at others if you fail. Simply put, if this crashes and burns, we know who gets the blame. But those who fail in light of these while others succeed, you will be branded a whiner. Most managers probably hate this too but aren't in a position to rock the boat. See if this constant whining and complaining is effective with your DM. To repeat, I'm not a manager nor am in drinking the kool aid. I'm getting up every morning and doing the same thing I've done since I started here. I use the tools I find effective and ignore the ones I find useless. I'll keep plugging away regardless of what happens. And if I need to move on, I can do it secure in the fact that I did everything I can to expand my "franchise." If you are honest and straight forward about your previous experience, managers are not going to hold a company train wreck against. Just stop being a whiny shite.

Dear Mr./Ms. Manager, put down the kook aid and stop being a bitch. The reason this product is not doing as well as they hoped for is simple.
1) managed care sucks - home office fault because they outsource this.
2) lower dose - really!! 35 mg tid versus 50 mg bid or 100 mg once a day. - who fault is this well I will let you figure this one out
3) the hiring of new to the industry because they are hungry - home office fault.

I was one of the top reps last year because I worked my ass off. The blame points to home office. I will not this year because the oz prinicpals blames the reps. I have done my part.

A manager once told me I could complain about things once, then it was factored in to my current sales environment and she didn't want to hear about it anymore. There is no celestial referee calling fouls here.
There is no crying in pharma sales. (OK, so I'm taking some artistic license here). First and foremost, your accountable to yourself. So for the last time, quicherbichin.

BTW - I doubt such a high performer would be so whiny and needy. B

I am not whinny and needy. When I see that something is wrong (the oz principal) then I stand up for what I believe. I have been through this before. I am not a mindless robot like most of the managers that will do anything to save there job (ex. Kiss butt or a yes man) If I cant stand on principals and then I don't need to work that company. If they want to fire let them but at least I know I fought for what I believe.

Oh that was some great advise you gave about your former manager, yeah former manager. That's a good one. I would not want to work for someone like you because you would throw your reps under the bus to save your a$$. Great managerial style.

Thanks big Lou for taking the co pay card aways starting July 1st. This will sure help make us profitable. I guess he is still living in 2002 where you didn't need copay cards because managed care covered branded at a tier 2. I am sure patients will line up to get Zorvolex for $50 to go $70 compare to $10 or $4. Yeah everybody has a lot of extra money with the socialist in the White House.

True if copay cards go away this will be the end of the company. Unfortunately, you have already released this info and reps know. You can't change a zero copay back to $25 it just doesn't work. Good luck! Moving onto better company with some idea of managed markets, pricing, etc

Lou thinks that if we do away with the copay cards, sales will stay the same and he can make $100 per script. He thinks it is still 2003.

Lou you can not make it without a copay card when you have a pig in a dress.

Lots of truth in here. Most importantly, the mass exodus comment! Oh it's going to begin alright. Start the countdown the drain plug is about to be pulled... Don't be a part of the swirl of shit!

"Co-pay cards are changing and patients will be paying alot more out of pocket give it about a month or so, and do what you can to make bonus in the meantime."

Yeah copay cards are changing, the are going away July 1. Dumba$$ Lou thinks it is a great idea. Yeah, back in the day (2003) reps didn't need copay cards to sell.
