Bard Access Interview...good move?

Just speaking the truth people. Jeff was a good manager and salesperson but he is going to be replaced and BAS moves forward

someone else will take his place, it's the nature of the beast. Happy for him that he got the hell out. Haven't heard that 1 DM regrets leaving in the last few years. Kind of funny as he was in the DB club, so this was probably shocking to the cool guys.

Why do you say he was in the DB club? Aren't all DMs in that club or did he have a special membership.

Wouldn't it be great if people had the balls to put there names to these comments. My guess is that they are from people with heat on them or others that have already left.

The whole purpose of this board is anonymous comments. If it wasnt anonymous you would get the same exact political BS you hear all the time. Your point is completely invalid.

LMAO, not all DM's are in the DB club at all. It's a select group of those who can kiss ass at the highest level and bring a different sportcoat for every day at the sales meeting. Performance is not a requirement for entry, although some of the chosen are performers.

You probably lasted 2 years too long if you couldnt figure out how to make money in 4 years. Turnover is less than 10%, but 30% sounds like a good number to throw out on a message board.

Please keep sharing your broad generalized statements without any backup, we're all riveted.

Bottom line is there are d bags in mgt and there are also great mgrs...Just like sales reps, just like marketing, etc. From experience, it's not much different than any other company in those regards. Money is there for performers and hard workers.

You are crazy. You have probably left Bard. Over stock the shelves. Let em have it.

Pretty much. Get an advance in your commission and then answer 100 emails about why your numbers are down until they do it again. Really screws you for consistency. Main reason why we have big swings in total comp year after year.

What percentage of the sales force is making over 165k? I would say 10% to be fair. Need to be in Top 10 to hit this number nowadays. Unfortunately, most reps need to resort to loading and other unethical ways to crack the top 20!

Most reps here don't even make 120k.

Bard Access is a great career move as long as you:

1) can accept a $46k base salary. (really, $46k in 2013? such a joke)
2) accept 2 weeks vacation, which you are frowned upon even taking. (first year entry level jobs for college grads get 3 weeks) The only "vacations" you get to experience are with the other Bard droids at meetings or Award trips where you get to witness the epitome of brown-nosing and adultery
3) You can give up any hobbies you may enjoy.
4) You give up any and all time you would like to spend with your family.
5) you enjoy daily phone calls from your manager at 7:01 am to make sure you are at a hospital, not getting out of bed. Phone calls on sunday nights and saturday mornings as well.
6) You can give up your weekends to work on redundant spreadsheets documenting your time in the field.
7) you enjoy being the go-to person for all of the products failures and inefficiencies. (my sherlock is broken again)

forgetting anything?

This is well said. Except I the amount of work. I 100% agree with the shit breaking every week. They are truly pieces of junk. Anyone have a Vision 2 that actually works!?!? Hahha
