Back to work!

I like many will wait for our turn with the vaccine. However, we go into 6-9 offices per day and interact with office staff, HCP’s and are in the lobbies and waiting rooms with patients. So I’m not saying we should leapfrog anyone elderly or who has comorbidities but we should’ve been prioritized if they expected us to be out there exposing those people and ourselves and families and friends and strangers potentially with Covid.

You must be a newbie, why would you visit 6-9 offices a day. Most visit 1-2 and fake the rest of the calls for the day.
 












it’s Friday, I didn’t do a damn thing as usual. Yet I am consistently a top performer. Everyone fakes most of their calls.

It’s called embracing the work theory called THE ALL DAY LIE. It was first introduced on the AZ thread years ago and has spread. I believe in it 100% and it has served me well! Life is much better with THE ALL DAY LIE!
 
























Monday afternoon, been home for 2 hours and watched Netflix. Woke up, went to gym and stopped in 2 offices then grabbed lunch with my spouse and kids who are off. I love this Company. What did you do today?
 






























Honestly what is wrong with accountability? HQ workers are monitored for coming to work on time, working a productive 8+ hours day, etc., etc., etc. Why does the sales force believe they are exempt from transparency and accountability? This is why many folks find our sales reps as nothing but whiny snow flakes. Sorry but the truth oftentimes is harsh.
 






Can you believe my moron manager actually said to us, while bitching about our low call averages, that “covid is not an excuse anymore?”
The company is also pushing us hard to do speaker programs. I am in disbelief.
 






There are still offices that are not seeing reps in person due to covid. Physicians are asking me if I have been vaccinated. They are telling me that considering all the offices we are in, the company should prioritize vaccinating us as we are at high risk going from office to office. Some offices still don’t want to open to reps. It’s not business as usual.

I've worked both home office and in-field. Both are monitored for when they start their day and leave. The amount of time-wasting I saw in the home office environment is insane. Both field reps and HQ workers do MAYBE 3-4 hours of actual work per day. Further, the majority of field reps are required by metrics to work most lunches and many do a lot of overnights taking them away from their families.

Boo hoo! Cry me a river, snowflake. Spend some time working in finance or manufacturing and see how much work is done in a business day! Too bad that the day of pharma reps is ending in the immediate future.
 






I’ve been faking 90% of my calls for over 12 years with the company. Sometimes I get 1 sig in the morning and 1 in the afternoon to cover my ass but just about everything else is fake. I’ve won 2 pres clubs in that time and my manager could care less since we are buds. Point is, this gig is a bunch of fluff bs as long you play the politics and participate in meetings!

Where is your self respect? This type of cheating is why pharma reps are becoming an extinct species! I just can't believe the BS from Sales!!
